Excellent news, all! After a month of car shopping, I purchased a 1997 Nissan Maxima on Monday, February 23, 2004. I'll spare you all the terrible story of my torturous car shopping experience (for now) and instead revel in the many wonders of my new car.

This wonderful vehicle is black with black leather interior, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, security system, a Bose sound system (CD, cassette, AM/FM), heated seats to warm your bum, sunroof, and, finest of all, a V6 engine. *squeals with delight*

The car cost more than I had originally budgeted for a car, but after test driving it and confirming that my parents would be willing to commit more money to the purchase (my parents agreed to pay half the cost), I knew that this was the car that God wanted me to drive. Everything lined up so perfectly that I knew this was right and I couldn't walk away from it. Now I'm driving a dream car! w00t!

I'll have to share the whole story some time. The first 29 days of the month of car shopping were discouraging, depressing, and just plain stunk. The few days leading up to the final purchase were wonderfully joyous. I purchased the car from a Christian car dealership in Tulsa and the car salesman even prayed over the car with us before we signed the papers!

I'll try to post some pictures of the car this week. Also, watch this thread for the full story (if/when I get/take the time to write and post it).

Congrats d00d! *searches Google for pictures* Wow, pretty nice looking. ( Of course, it can never compare to a Ford Mustang. ;) )

I hate manuals..lol. Anyway, it looks even better then the Google pics! But, driving is so unhealthy, walking is so much better for you..So, I think I'll just take that off your hands. You'll thank me later.

Sure, that'd be fine. Just send the pictures (JPG or PNG format only) to tek7 AT cgalliance DOT org and I'll post them as soon as possible. Please make sure that all the images together do not "weigh in" at over 1MB. Also, be sure to include a description for the gallery.

Hey! Are you saying my bu--Oh, you mean the trunk trunk. That's not junk, those are emergency supplies, a folding chair, and my pool cue (in a hard case).

Tek is a pool-playing baffoon, too?!%!&$

Join the crowd, we gotta hit up a pool table on Convention week.

There are pool tables at Celebration Station. I originally thought about setting up a billiards tournament, but thought it might steal too much time away from other fun stuff. I can always reconsider, though.

Hey, what about my 99 Chev Express 3500 15 passenger van guys? I could do a full spread of pics if you like

Okay, you now have no excuse not to bring the whole family AND all of TribForce to the CGA convention this May.

I kid, of course, but if there was any way for you all to make a long, long, long road trip from Canada, O Canada, that would be fantastic. A bit unrealistic, true, but we can hope!

how can canadians afford so many kids......

although that would be cool 7 kids, cuz then you would have one for each day of the week, and could ezly divide up chores with little to no over lap
