Possibly the majorest update in GW history

I haven't been too concerned or excited about the title discussion since I am so low or so far from most titles. I do agree with RyanB that it would be a nice touch if titles were account specific rather than character specific. There really is a temptation to use my main character more than any other because he is the only one who has a real shot at the titles. It does keep me from exploring new professions, too.

My solution was to forget the titles and enjoy playing around with a new elementalist. I've about decided I am going to do the same with a dervish and a paragon as well - eventually. If the titles were account specific my new elementalist could actually contribute to acquiring titles by working the lower level items instead of bringing my big kahuna into the lower levels just to open up the maps or touch some bases. Easy but tedious with his armor and skills - not much fun kicking level 8 and 13 charr butt.

As for should Christians go after the drunkard title or some others like it - why not? It really is just a game - you are killing to level up - using all kinds of magic skills to put your enemies out of commission - fighting the demonic forces of evil - all of which are not very Christ-like in the REAL world. But this is a game - just a game. Enjoy it brothers and sisters.

It would be nice if some of the grind titles, such as catographer, drunkard, etc. were account based. I used to love playing my warrior, but I've created a few other characters. My current favorite is my fire ele. I hate starting all over each time.

Personally I'm looking forward to treasure hunter and wisdom titles going account based. This would be a major boost for me since i've never bothered to hand golds over to my main title hunter to id. Too much hassle.

I'm going for every title that i can. I lost the chance for survivor before I even knew titles existed so I'd love an opportunity to regain that one somehow.

As for Drunkard, yes I'm going for it as pretty much everyone who knows me in the alliance already knows. I don't have a problem with it as a Christian, yet I'm a teetotaler in real life. If I earn the Incorrible Ale hound it's simply for having one more title. I'll probably never display it. I feel that it's just a game. And if you have issues with the drunkard title, well you really don't want to know what the Bible has to say about Necromancers.
