I want to come back and check out the game again since other than Factions, I never actually beat the campaign nor have I played past thirty minutes in EOTN. My question is should I take my Ritualist through Nightfall and Prophecies, should it be my Assassin, or should I finish the respective campaigns with my Paragon and Mesmer? Been stumped on this for awhile. :/ I found the first two the most fun to play, but Mesmer was also buffed. My Paragon is cool because he doesn't wear pants. Decisions, decisions.

Wammos throwing mending on PUGs is the only way to go.

I find Spirit Spamming Rits to be a riot. Assassins... I've never been able to get the hang of those guys. I still don't have a Mesmer, despite my having a lvl 20 of all other professions (except a lvl 12-13 Assassin). And although Paragons don't have pants, they are capable of some crazy buffs.

Of your choices I picked the Ritualist. If I were suggesting a new start - it would be Elementalist. I had a Monk, a Warrior pretty far along - then played with a Paragon for a while - but when I picked up an Elementalist - I've been with him ever since, through everything.

Went with Rit. One of the most overpowered classes there is. Use a SOS spirit spammer, and nothing can stop you in any campaign. Took me forever to complete Legendary on my Paragon because I had to go straight spear skills. The buffs are fun, but take careful coordination.

I don't have any opinion about any of those professions. The one thing I WOULD point out is that, now that I've completed so much on a War, an Ele, and a Necro... There's a part of me that wishes I had been more focussed on a single character. I would be a lot further along title-wise.

That's not to say I didn't have fun bringing the three of them up and playing very different styles... I'm just putting that out there.

Yeah, the whole HoM title hunt has totally changed the focus of the game for everyone. Although, it is account based so having multiple characters may not be such a bad thing. That said, since you're going with char you already had created, I would agree with Ursen and say go with the Rit. That build is, for the most part, unstoppable. It's even effective in HM and good for farming. Plus, I personally enjoyed NF the most out of all of the campaigns.
