Please pray for our son.

Hi all,

Last night our youngest, Michael got a very deep cut on his hand from glass in a screen door that broke. It appears that it may have cut his extensor tendon. Although he is able to move his fingers there is fear that he may have to have the tendon repaired. (He wouldnt push the nurses finger down with his fingers. We're not sure if it was because of the way she scared him or if he just couldnt) We have to try to get him into an Orthopedic surgeon this morning to have him evaluated. Please keep him in prayer that he wont have to go through any surgery. Just putting him through the stitching process last night completely broke our hearts. (The nurse was pretty rough when she did it. Especially when she went to numb it) I will keep you all updated as to his progress. Thanks and God bless.

UPDATE Thank you all for your prayers. We took him to the orthopedic today and after examining the wound (without reopening it thankfully) and having Michael move his hand and fingers in various ways he doesnt feel that Michael suffered any permanant damage and he believes the tendon effected will heal on its own. We have to bring him back on Friday for a recheck to be certain but for now all looks good. He appears to still have full motion with all his fingers and hand so none of the important tendons were effected. Thank the Lord! Harold and I thank you all for keeping him in your prayers. I know your prayers and God's healing are what turned this potential heartbreak into great relief!
