Team Fortress 2 has gone free to play. If you haven't downloaded the fun filled, carnage, hat simulator I strongly suggest you do if you have any desire to play a class based FPS. Go here for the game. Also you can join us ( Toj ) Tuesday nights, 8:00 central, on our TF2 server at 8.12.19.2:27015 . We'll show you the ropes and alternately torment you for being a newbie, a win win for all!

While Valve made some changes to the game I'm not especially fond of (especially the whole "key/crate system as a cover for introducing minors to gambling" rot), TF2 is still, IMO, the most fun first-person shooter out there. Well, aside from Half-Life 1 Deathmatch at a LAN party. (No, I'm not kidding. Zero-ping HL1DM is some of the most fun you'll ever have on a computer.)

But this thread is not intended to be about Valve's design choices. It's intended to let Christian gamers-or anyone willing to follow ToJ's TF2 server rules, really--who've just picked the game that there's a place they can go to learn, play, and enjoy the game in a friendly (and family-friendly) environment.

I got the game, been playing it in training mode - have no idea what i'm doing though. lol Actually, I should say I know what I'm supposed to do, somewhat, but doing it is another thing. Anyway, if I need a steam invite - then please invite me. (id in signature) I haven't joined in the server because I don't want to be a complete noob, but if there are other's like me, I'd love to join in.

Hmm, so it wasn't some type of scam or something :/. I'm always weary of things that say play for free. It isn't exactly free is it? I mean, you always have to end up paying for something. If so awesome. Now, if only people still played it on the 360 XD. My laptop doesn't have the power to have actual fun on it. It'd lag so bad.
