PlanetSide

We had originally planned on forming a Planetside chapter, but there was not sufficient interest within ToJ and no one recruited externally. Also, there were no volunteers to staff the chapter, which is a requirement for establishing any and all new chapters.

I'd be happy to set up a chapter for Planetside as the game does not feature any sexual, occult, or overly violent content. We just need a chapter leader to get things rolling.

Does that mean you'd like to lead a Planetside chapter? I'll be truthful: it is quite a deal of work and is not for the faint of heart or the terribly busy. You would be responsible for the entire chapter--recruiting, web design, in-game guild mechanics, and so on. It's true that you can appoint staff to take care of any of these tasks and others, but it often happens that a chapter leader wears many, many hats during the first few months of leadership.

A leader...Wow.

I will have to think about that. I would much rather be a Co-leader, or something along those lines.

Think it over, see if you can gather up a few other players, maybe even someone willing to lead the chapter, then contact me via e-mail at tek7 AT toj DOT cc with contact information for you and other potential staff. You're free to recruit both internally and externally for staff, but remember that all ToJ staff must read and agree to the ToJ charter, apply for membership, and have their membership application approved.
 
Well, if I were to be a leader, I would like to be at Battle Rank(BR) 15, and Command Rank(CR) 2 oe 3 atleast. I am currently at BR 7, CR 0, and progressing by the day.

As I progress in the game, and if life works out for me, I will be able to lead a chapter by next fall, or before that.
 
last summer when i played the game to death on my 7-day trial i hit br13 in a couple days...needless to say i did very little sleeping >_<

if i had a reliable connection at school i'd probably subscribe...
 
I am planning on obtaining BR 15 and CR 3-5 by the end of February, but I cannot commit a lot of time to leading a chapter right now.

If anyone would like, I will try now. If not, I am going to just continue with the Outfit I am in.
 
Zero: If you decide you'd like to lead a Planetside chapter, just e-mail me at tek7 AT toj DOT cc. If you don't want to right now, that's fine and I'd rather you honestly evaluate your free time and desire to lead a chapter before taking the position.

BUT, if you would like to help gather up all the ToJ members who do play Planetside, you could post a little blurb on the forums and I'll pin it and post a news story linking to it on the ToJ news page. Just e-mail me with the URL of the post if/when you make it.
 
Yeah, it is stupid. If you are downloading the one for the Win Xp, then try to download it again.

If not, try to contact the CSR's for Sony.
