Pally Epic Mount Quest

I dont think any paladin in our guild has their epic mount yet...

I'm thinking that sometime in the future Sandric, Tebran, Lukey, Olgan and I attempt to do the final part of the quest together some time. The first steps will have to be done individually if I recall correctly...but the end I think requires a party of mostly paladins to succeed.

Sometime in the future (after we all get the 300+ gold) I think a guild mount run would be sweet :D
 
Don't listen to those strategy sites. You don't need more then 1 pally to do the quest. We did the final Scholo part for Lukey with:

1. Miriallia as tank (Druid)
2. Duffrey as DPS (Rogue)
3. Klangdon as DPS (Mage)
4. Lukey to do the judgements (Palladin)
5. Avesther as healer. (Priest)

Third wave gets nuts, agreed but not impossible. Unfortunatly, Klangdon crashed out during the third wave and we still pulled it off, on the first attempt. The only reason you take more then one pally to do the quest is so that more then one can get their epic mount on one run. Having more then one Pally in the group is not necessarily the best idea. Maybe after the 1.9 patch it will be easier with multiple pallies, but certainly before, a well balanced group is your best bet.
 
Acctually the reason you bring more then one paladin is that every time a Paladin in the group uses certain judges it stuns the guys, with multiple Paladins you can chain these stuns, making it much easier. I've heard its easiest with a couple paladins but it doesn't require them, you can certainly do it with a single paladin.

Strategy what is that?

Isn't that just like Klang to hide in the middle of the battle!! He will probable blame Peanut (the cat not the druid).

Anyway....

I have done the pally quest with 3 pallies me and some randomly generated character twice. I did not even realize what was going on at the time because it was not that difficult. So, it can be done either way.
 
Bah 300 gold! That is going to take forever. I saw we have some pristine black diamonds in the guild bank.

With my expensive sharper image strange device habbit I have that i will refer to as engineering, it will be a while before I am able to do it (I know, really, how many mechanical squirels does one really need).

That's an easy one my friend because one can never have too many mechanical squirels!
 
I suppose you could have too many mechanical squirels, just like any guy can have a too big of a big screen TV.

Anyway, uh...as Sensei (Plankeye) pointed out, 300 gold...
I'm a skinner and Engineer, while my alt is a miner and blacksmith. (Kind of a trade agreement between the two :P)
What's a good way to earn cash quickly for a paladin? (recently lvl 60 :D)
 
for skinners:
go to yeti cave in wintersprings (the one where you need to find the two pristine yeti horns) and keep skinning the dead yeti's and keep skinning till all your backpacks and all the epmty slots in your bank are filled with rugged leather, then make a trip to ironforge sell the rugged leather and keep repeating till you accquite the amount of gold you need (note there is a bank in winterspring, and its good to have bought 4 bag slots in the bank, the 5th and 6th are really only worth it once you have your epic mount and need something your itching to spend gold on). i found that most horde are either friendly or love to corpse camp. on a good day you can easily fill a 14 slotter full of rugged leather in an hour on a bad day your alt can gain a lvl or two.

that's excellent news because I won't be doing it anytime soon either lol. I still need a lot of money before I can attempt it.

I'm wondering tho...are solo Scarlet Monastery runs good cash makers? Or is it too slow now since Bliz nerfed the loot there? (Or is it just too slow for a paladin anyway?)
 
You can run graveyard as a pally really quickly. Plus it is a lot of fun as you can agro about 10 undead and drop a holy wrath bomb and watch you dps meter hit 2000 dps.

The graveyard is the lowest level instance in SM so the loot isn't as nice as cathederal but it is the quickest for a pally.
 
Ah yeah, I remember Cammandus (! hes a pally i forgot to mention...) running that with me once.

Oh and it turns out that my brother (Lukey) already has his epic, so it's gonna be Tebran, Sandric, Olgan, me, and maybe Camm...so yeah.
 
Cammandus already has an epic. he bought his instead of doing the quest. I helped your brother do the quest. The dude you have to kill looks like the Baron from Strath.
