Outage during Fast until January 25th

Folks,

Goodwone and Citgrad will be out until Janunary 25th, due to a churchwide Corporate Fast. We WILL be participating in the 25 man Raids, but will be otherwise abstaining from WoW during the Fast.

Our Church, Free Chapel, does this every year. Today is the 8th day of a 21 day Fast. I invite anyone who feels led by the Lord to join us. Our Pastor said today that there are over 300,000 people Worldwide participating in our Fast.

What better way to start out the new year than consecrating unto the Lord!

Again, Goodwone and Citgrad WILL participate on the 25 man Raids, but will not be online for regular play until after the 25th.

Technically speaking, Fasting is abstaining from food (which we are also doing). The idea is to give up things for a short period of time, and put the Focus on God. So, my gameplay has been reduced by about 80-90% for now.

When Fasting, typically it is a very personal thing. You aren't supposed to make a show out of it. "Do it privately and the Lord will reward you openly." If this were a personal fast you wouldn't know about it. But this is something our church does annually and is a Corporate Fast.
