This is going to be very hypocritical as I myself am guilty of this, but leaving to play for other clans does NOT help the chapter at all, I confess I did this but yea
 
you can do some really cool things with amx mod...

one of the plugins gives a player a choice of various punishments for someone who has tk'ed him. ex bury the tk'er, slap the tk'er 200 times, turn the tk'er into a rocket, ....or the christian thing to do: forgive him

this of course would recquire friendly fire turned on
 
I dont think a mod will do that much good. Its getting people to play on the server. This is something im finding harder to do myself. Now i have to get up at 6am i can no longer pull the late CS shifts with you guys...:(

Dead_Aim Zealot and my self want to help Elite set up A-Team again. I think Elite is away and busy, so will you be someone who we can talk to Para?

i think elites absence is due to his fathers cancer may be spending with him, so lets be praying him and his family
 
Like flash said, Im game for restarting A-Team. I have good leadership skills and I will get a good CAL team together. All I need are Elite and Para's ok.
 
Let's start with the server donations. We can't have an A-Team or mods without a server...

My dad is doing much better, thanks, LoJ - I have been doing a lot of things with and for the family and work has me on call 24/7. I also have been guilty of not getting on the server...but I've had other things I've needed to take care of.
 
Elite if I can have A-Team I may be able to get a sponsor. I know a guy who lives near by who owns a lan center and is CAL-MAIN, he said he wants to start a clan so if he can help me get A-Team back up and play on it Im sure he will sponsor the clan.

PM me about more details and If you want me to go ahead with the idea.
 
Be ful care with the "I know a guy, he's got this, and this." things. I've failed with those setups a few times.

Maybe it's time to bring back statsme or something like that?

This is off the topic but could we put the IRC channel in the server greeting, the bottom line of it, prime advertising space. I haven't looked lately but I think I would have noticed if it was in there.

I kind of miss the days when ToJers went out "Pubbing" and we used ICQ's mass messaging feature to tell 2-3 other people what IP we were going to pub at. It was truly enjoyable going out in to the world, especially when someone asked what ToJ was and if they could join.

Micah, i was wondering, you are already in a Clan, but if u set up another one (or.. uh make a team) wouldn't taht mean u'd hav to leave EoK? errr confusing (spins around)

Ya, what happened to Plantronics and all the big CAL-I guys you were playing with?

I think we've tried the "A-Team" thing and there just didn't seem to be enough interest, hence "dB" and "nL" - if they exist anymore.

I just think CS has been put on the back-burner for most of the group. I know it will grow strong again - just give it time. In the meantime, we need to be supporting for the PAYMENT of the server. Without a server, there is no ToJ.

REMEMBER THE PAYMENT!
