As you will notice, I said it was me doing the pwntaging of you.
Also as much as I love Vinatieri, he also missed too very easy field goals that would have already had the game won. Brady played well, and his numbers were solid, even if unspectacular. Delholme, not gonna try and spell that right, would have gotten the MVP if the Panthers had won most likely. It's simply that there were very few big plays, and none that drasticly affected the outcome of the game. Both QB's put up solid numbers, though Delholme was like 14/40ish, and while everyone did their part the QB's were still the constants.
Plus it was choice of Cadillac, not Mercedes. You'll also note if you will though that Vinatieri has 4 misses indoors, ever. All 4 came at Reliant Stadium. Why this is no one knows. For a kicker though missing two relativly easy field goals destroys their confidence. It was also a 40 something yarder that won the game. Anyone who says that's easy, I'd like to see them do that with 8 seconds left and the game hanging on it.
Ironicly though, this was the same way they won two years ago. Ricky Proehl caught a touchdown to tie the game, and the Patriots march down the field with minimal time to win. Three points is huge in a game that was scoreless for almost 25 minutes, featuring two incredible defenses.
Besides through about 20 minutes the Panthers had less then 0 total yards, can't forget that now can we.
