Onyxia Key!

For all those level 50's and 60's here that do not have access to Onyxia (or are willing to help), I'm hoping we could group together maybe this weekend and complete it for all of us as a guild event.

I'm not far into it myself; I only just completed the Fed-Ex part, and need to find (not rescue yet) Windsor in BRD.

I keep meaning to post on this, so I'm going to. Important people, if you truly want to be doing end game instances, you have got to get yourselves keyed to even enter them. Onyxia is a long, drawn out line of quests, takes the average person about a week to complete. Thus if you want to be running onyxia and would like for me and others to spend the time looking for a guild to partner up with to run Onyxia, then we really need to see commitment from members to get keyed.

But 1st step is, of course....

To get keyed. With Thottbot and experience from other people, I highly doubt it really takes an entire week just to get keyed. A few BRD runs, a few UBRS runs...doable in a hardcore weekend I think.

I may be wrong, but that's just my impression from what Thottbot said so far
 
I am upto finding windows in BRD too. Just hard finding a guild only BRD group at the moment. FJ needs it to for smelting dark iron for Fire Resist gear so it is a win/win for everyone.
 
The problem is finding the people willing to do what you need to get done. You may find a PuG group willing to do a bit of the BRD steps, but you will likely not get all the BRD steps done. And same with finding a guild only, hardcore, I'm willing to do what it takes to get it done group as well. Like Plankeye mentioned, many guild groups have need to do some BRD, but not all will be willing to do all the steps of the BRD sections of the Onyxia key quest for you. You'll again be making compromises here and there to get each step done. And before you know it, you'll have done BRD so much, you'll never want to step foot in there again.
 
ugh. you're right. I need to run into that blasted place like 5 times just to do some little part of the dungeon each time.

Oh well, I remember 2-manning half of it for Tebran a while ago...see if we can do it again.

I have no clue where I am on this chain on my rogue, but I will be more than willing to help you out get your key. After all the judgement helm is one cool looking one!

Lol, I'm working on my epic hunter quest, then I shall have a nice hunterweapon. I've killed 2 out of the 4 demons, tomorrow I will hopefully kill another. This is the worst quest to do on a PvP server, I have now made a list of people I will corpse camp for eternity.

Back on Illidan the Jail Break portion of the quest alone took me three months to get a group that was acctually competent enough to complete.
 
Ugh. I may need to check out my time schedule for Saturday and today. I'll have to see if I can pull off a 3hour+ WoW time.

If I do, I would really love to key myself with a bunch of guildies...if not, well, LFG!!!!
