Anybody out there like old movies?
I am just wondering if anyone has seen the post? I will bump it couple times then let it go (I really don't know the etiquette on post bumping

) Let me stress
these sites are completely free and any objectable content is for the most part pretty easily avoided (unless you count white people playing asians or smoking

). I watch them by right clicking and saving a file from the download selections on the left. I usually pick the second largest file for quality and let it download while afk, however, some files appear corrupted so you may have to download a different file.
I have seen a lot of the movies on Archive.org but here are a few of them I liked. I have mentioned any objectable content I can remember and given a general tag to each (serious, fun, campy, comedy, etc.)
The Amazing Mr. X (serious)
http://www.archive.org/details/amazing_mr_x
While the movie features a medium but you know he is completely a fake by the end.
Fleischer Superman cartoons. (fun)
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=subject:"superman" "cartoon"
I own the DVD so I need not download them but that shows you how much I like them! FYI these cartoons actually came up with some of superman's powers and helped shape his character to what we know today. I still find the animation impressive.
Baby Face Morgan (1942) (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/babyface_morgan
Fun at the beginning but the ending is far too short.
Barefoot Boy (1938) (fun)
http://www.archive.org/details/barefoot_boy
Don't let the name throw you. The younger sister makes the movie.
Buster Keaton (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=Buster Keaton
Too many people will dismiss these movies because they are silent but some are extremely good! You must look close or you will miss some good jokes and the stunts he does are still thrilling today (you can see were Jackie Chan was in influenced). This link goes to a search so not all the listings are for Buster Keaton and I would avoid the "Flawed Family Flicks" selections. Note "The Boat" has a minor cuss word" it is also the least entertaining imo.
Earthworm Tractors (1936) (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/earthworm_tractors
Once again don't let the name throw you.
East Side Kids / Bowery Boys / Dead End Kids / Movies (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query="East Side Kids"
This search link may have not gotten all the movies with them. Muggs and the gang grow on you. Screwno seems to be accepted as just one of the guys too. Which is refreshing at a time when most black people were kind of set apart from the group in movies. Muggs prays in "Smart Alecks (1942)" GASP!!!
Happy Go Lovely (1951) (romantic comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/happy_go_lovely
Not campy just a nice romantic comedy!
Impact (1949) (serious)
http://www.archive.org/details/impact
Perhaps too serious for children as a marriage does end. The beginning is slow but very necessary to the plot and it gets better.
The Inspector General (1949) (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/the_inspector_general
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED DANNY KAYE! The best part is where he plays four versions of himself.
It's A Joke, Son (1947) (comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/its_a_joke_son
Where the Warner Bros. character of Foghorn Leghorn came from.
Killer Shrews (1959) (campy)
http://www.archive.org/details/The_Killer_Shrews
Watch it to make funny comments on it. If you take it serious you are in for a bad time.
Road To Happiness (1941) (serious)
http://www.archive.org/details/road_to_happiness
Has divorce but is quite good.
The Amazing Quest of Ernest Bliss (1936) (romantic comedy)
http://www.archive.org/details/amazing_adventure
Cary Grant
The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) (serious)
http://www.archive.org/details/AHTheManWhoKnewTooMuch1934
Early Hitchcock film
Unfinished Task (1960) (serious)
http://www.archive.org/details/unfinished_task
Not the most entertaining film but it is a film with a strong CHRISTIAN message. Watchable if only for that.
These are some of the many different serials on the archive they are all campy but enjoyable

I have only listed the first in each serial you will have to search the archive for the rest.
Ace Drummond
http://www.archive.org/details/ace_drummond1
Ace sings his way into our hearts while fighting evildoers that like windmills. To bad he only knows one song lol.
Adventures of Smilin' Jack
http://www.archive.org/details/Adventures_of_Smilin_Jack_-_Chapter_1
Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler) and his number one son (Keye Luke) need I say more.
Dead End Kids: Junior G-Men Part 1 (1940)
http://www.archive.org/details/Gmen1
I found it to be more fun than most of the other serials because of the characters. Two of parts are missing of the twelve though.
Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe: Chapter 1 (1940)
http://www.archive.org/details/flash_gordon_ep1
Apparently the second of 2 Flash Gordon serials. You can hum Queens "Flash Gordon" theme song and make it even better "Flash a-ah". Caaaaaaampy
Zorro's Fighting Legion: Chapter 1 - Golden God (1939)
http://www.archive.org/details/zorros_fighting_legion_chapter_1
I have made up alternate words for the music during the riding sequence "We are the legion of Zorro, Zorro's fighting legion, with Zs on their shirts" hehe
Don't discount the moviess just because they are old many are better than the CGI addicted stuff they produce today!
