I think everyone hoped this would be happening, and it seems some real evidence is showing up, despite no official confirmation yet:

Oh yeahhhhhhhh.

Now if they could just give us that freakin' FFVII HD remake they blatantly teased when first demoing the PS3 and showing video of it. Yes, I know it was just supposed to be a tech demo but come on...FFVII with advent children-esque graphics, trophies, and possible online or co-op play?

And characters with more depth than a puddle?

But yes, HD versions of ICO and Shadow of Colossus would be pretty sweet. Even if I was the only person on the planet who wasn't that fond of (the admittedly brief bit I played of) Shadow of Colossus.
 
I will be third in line for a Team ICO HD collection. I'd say "first," but I know that there are at least one or two people more hyped than I am. Still, that'll be legit. I never got the chance to play Ico, and I was fond of what I played of Shadow of the Colossus.

Hey, some puddles can be very deep. Besides, they didn't have as much time to develop these characters as they did in FF8-13 where they have the exact same characters and stories with different hairstyles/names/etc.

Minus FFIX. FFIX was actually a pretty good game. Certainly not as good as FFVI, but still good.

I should give Shadow of Colossus another shot.
 
I was told about the Wallyworld listing last night.

I'm hyped.

Seriously. I managed to (practically) miss both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Rerelease... with HD bump... at $40 (equivalent to buying both off a PS2 Greatest Hits shelf) is just awesome.

The waiting is the hardest part.

I try not to think about those.

It sets me into completionist mode.

Which I'm pretty sure is just a specific manifestation of OCD (at least in my case).
 
Off topic: I can understand not liking Shadow of Colossus if it wasn't your thing but seriously Tek you can beat it in a day (a full one) you must have stopped really early >.<. I thought it was good, like being in the Clash of the Titans movie (the old cool one from the 80's), it was just far too expensive (new) for the meager play time you get out of it.

Extra note: I find SotC and ICO are those types of games that are fun to watch the first play though as much as directly play (as long as you aren't grinding lizards and fruit).

Speaking of that...I forget exactly what is going on with yours, but mine started locking up every once in a while. Then it started locking up somewhat often. Then it was every 15 minutes.

I swapped in my ol' reliable 60GB hard drive, and voila, problems gone. So I can definitely attest that a hard drive can cause some serious lockups. If this is similar to what you're experiencing, I'd definitely try to swap in a spare 2.5".
