Here's what I'd be if I wuz joo:

1. Warrior. No spells whatsoever. Unless brute force is a spell.
2. Monk. Helping people like Christians would... although this profession use's the power of another "god"
3. Ranger. No spells, and an AWESOME proffession, summons spirits though
4. Assassin. Only semi-questionable thing is "shadow arts", but that isn't occult, neccessarily.
5. Elementalist. Spells, but elemental, i.e. fire earth water air. BEST PROFFESSION AROUND, just ask me or Rubber Ducky

Ritualist is border line, I think, it has stuff like summoning spirits and using the ashes of certain dead people to do various things, and necromancers ... ... yeah... sooo there you go

We need to remember this is just a GAME. Forget occult and playing female characters.........if we really want to read something sinister into a GAME.......then you can't overlook the sticking point that we play and just KILL, KILL, KILL everything in sight that doesn't look like us.

After all its not one of the 10 suggestions that says "Thou shalt not kill." It doesn't say "thou shall not kill with spells" or "thou shall not kill while playing a character of the opposite sex".

Certainly if you are convicted by the Holy Spirit that you should not play then don't play. But if the Spirit is gonna convict you of using spells certainly He will convict you that killing in any form is even more wrong.

Just be obedient to the conviction of the Spirit and leave the analysis to the pyschiatrist's couch.

I do have to agree - if you weren't here, this world would indeed suck, because it would have nothing else to revolve around and would completely lose its gravitational pull, sending all the rest of us floating right off into space.

God gives us freedom of choice, so make a informed decision based on what you believe.

If while playing a game you feel influenced in a bad way, take a break or give it up for awhile. Pray about it, alot of times you will come back refreshed, or realize that it may not be best for you.

What I strongly encourage is actively praying while playing games, thank God for any good drops you get, or when you manage to outsmart some monster, and for any bugs that give you a better chance. God wants to talk to us, and communicating with him in our everyday lives and while doing work or fun will deepen that relationship with Him. Just remember there is no right or wrong way to talk to and worship God, do what you feel is comfortable.

I lost my accent. Well I never really had one. I moved so much as an army brat, I'm just sort of... me. However I've found working horrid amounts of overtime that whatever southern accent I once had comes back very strong when I'm suffering from sleep deprevation.
