Nose Surgery

Its actually tomorrow.

Gotta go there before 11:00 am and get ready.

This is my first serious surgery (unless you count wisdom teeth).

Anyways, I can only breathe from 1 nostril, so it can be hard to breathe, especially when I'm sick/got the flu. It could of been 1 of my head injuries, no idea.

What they are gonna do is break my nose and realign it again.

So my recovery time is 1 week after surgery.

Honestly, I'd have to pray to God that it goes well and that I wake up on the bed of the hospital. *sigh*

Very scared for tomorrow. :(

I hear you. Surgery, no matter what the reason, is scary for the person going through it. I can tell you that the kind you well have is not major so please take some comfort in that. I will pray for the doctor, nurses and you. Please let us know when you can how you did.

God Bless!

Jason

Well, I'm back home.

The surgery was good. Not as painful as the wisdom teeth.

But I'm wearing a bandage incase of bleeding (which I will in a few days), nose plugs and clip.

Also got medicine too.

The one thing I didnt like was putting the I.V. into my hand.

Thank you for your prayers.

I hope to get better within a week.

Still drowsy tho.

today, the doctor took out my plugs and clip.

It feels better now. I can really breathe, in and out w/o trouble.

taking them out was extremely painful but worth it.

its still numb but i got enough pain meds.

Corp, don't get addicted to those meds. It's easy; and you won't even realize you are because, well, you don't feel anything except pretty good. There's not much of a reason not to take them.

But yeah, I would suggest you only take them when you feel pain, and perhaps shortly before bedtime for the first few days so you can get a good night's sleep. However, after those first few days you need to re-evaluate your reliance on the drugs and perhaps switch to something a little less potent.

I hope you make a speedy recovery :)

God bless, Corp :)
