Next Silithus Run ... Tuesday Nov 22?

Shane and I have been busy in Silithus. We have been trying to get a Crystal Tipped Stilleto to drop of the crimson templars, but so far no luck.

We have about 70 abyssal crests, which translates into 23 medallions... the ability to summon 23 dukes. I am running short of large brilliant shards so please send them to me if you have extras. It takes 3 crests and one shard to make a medallion.

I am still proposing we turn the signet rings from the dukes in for the sack of spoils, and chance at a good blue item, like Deedlyt's cape: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52152 or one of these items: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52134 http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52169 http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52117. The alternative is to save the signet rings to summon the next level bosses, the Lords/Royals.

If we can get a strong guild only showing next Tuesday I am happy to stay up late and summon as many dukes as we can.

If you have extra time, please farm for twilight set pieces in silithus and send them to me. Shane and I have been summoning templars from about 10-12 server time.

On another note, I am at about 9000/12000 rep into honored. I should hit revered within the next week or two. This will allow me the ability to summon the 3rd level bosses, called Lords or Royals. As a reminder these take 20+ to kill. I am not sure we will be able to or want to summon the Lords... we can cross that bridge when it comes.

Hehehe. "Deedlyt's cape." Not at this rate! I'll be doing the Thanksgiving thing with family Tuesday night (celebrating early. sister and brother-in-law with small baby and other plans for Thursday, etc). Monday would work for me, or later in the week too (Friday?). I can always try and log on from my parents, but it would be on my laptop... and that equals pain.
 
Wow, that would replace my second hander in a second. I love my orge staff, but this sword plus an offhand would be the best combination for any caster in comparison. Here is to hoping for it to drop, our last time out did not yield much in the way of loot though good times were had by all.

I was just thinking Deedlyt, you and I are in good shape here, either this or Fang of Venoxis drops for either of us, the other is set :)

If someone is willing to farm with me a few late nights a week I think we could set up a silithus guild only Duke farming run 2 nights per week. Just a thought because at the moment I am have much favor with the AH on getting mats for a good price (twilight set pieces). Perhaps Monday and Tuesday nights? We really need 6-7 of us there to kill the dukes but the more the merrier.

It takes 3 signets to turn in for a sack of spoils. However, once you hit friendly you can do a one time turn in with one signet for a sack of spoils. Keep that in mind as an incentive to farm and get rep in silithus. In addition, I am assuming that the new instances will somehow tie in with cenarion circle rep so it is good to get a jumpstart for that.

Finally, I think I MAY have enought twilight texts stored up to hit revered now. That would simply allow me to summon the Lords, and I am thinking through the risk vs. reward on that one. In the meantime, we could all benefit from the loot from the dukes and sack of spoils... and it may take a long time to get the loot depending on the drop rate. Just ask Shane about how many crimson templars we have killed without a crystal tipped stilleto falling.... and several of us have alts that could benefit from upgrades as well.

Feel free to post your thoughts, I am wide open for suggestions...

I will be on later in the evenings this Fri/Sat/Sun if we wanna head to Silithus!
