Next custom campaign...

That looks like a good thing to try. Especially since it has a "vs." mode.

Also, don't forget that sometime in the next month or two (provided they stay on schedule) The Passing DLC should be released giving us a new campaign.

I've uploaded the City 17 campaign onto our server so we may try to run though it tonight if people are willing. If you want to be ready to go tonight, download and run the .vpk file for City 17 here.

Alas, the curse of living in a different time zone. . .I don't get on until you guys have gone to bed. =(

Tek7, Whon, Corp.Fox and I played through this custom campaign last night. IMHO the level usage was on par with other L4D2 maps. There were some great choke points, a good amount of challenge and even a riot shield as a melee weapon! There are a few areas that could use some minor improvements, but overall I really enjoyed it. Would love to try and test it out on versus next week!

Of course, my problem is that its PURPLE and WHITE!

And that I can see through walls, as well as ERROR signs.

I was a bit underwhelmed with the first two levels, but the campaign picks up starting with the third level (which, coincidentally, was about the time Elihu joined our game).

Overall, it's a pretty good campaign. Somewhere between a 3 and 3.5 out of 5.

I'd also like to play it on Versus, if only to play something other than the stock campaigns in Versus mode.

I pulled down this one, and went to play it on Advance, and got smacked hard. With multiple tanks right at those nice choke points.

I also checked out Death Aboard 2, and did enjoy it quite a bit.

A L4D1-to-L4D2 conversion of Death Aboard?

Yes. Very yes.

EDIT: In case there was any question: Yes, I'm going to download and install Death Aboard 2.

I may be late to tonight's Left 4 Wednesday event, but I plan to play at some point. Just wanted to give fair warning.
