Hi everyone. After much debate, I've decided to go ahead and play my 14-day free trial of WoW. I'm currently an Officer in our ToJ Guild Wars chapter and was a longtime EQ player before that, so in short, I'm easily addicted. I also have a gaming wife, so that would likely mean TWO accounts per month. Like so many, the money is holding me back. But here I am, giving it a try. I couldn't help myself. I have to know what I am missing.

Two questions. First, what server do you all play on, so I can create my toon there. And second, is it too late to get started playing this game if I decided to do so? Or am I just too far behind that I'll never catch up to the level-cap without quitting my job and abandoning my family?
 
We're all on the Terenas server.

There are constantly new members creating new characters with 7F, especially recently, so you will definitely have partying buddies. I don't know if it's any funner than EQ, since I don't have that experience, but the guild is super helpful and we're a tight-knit community. It's too bad school forbids me from playing much these days. The fee is going to waste.
 
The difference between this game and EQ is amazingly this game is fun. Your not too far behind to start we have lots of new members, who have come from other servers and started over etc..

I played EQ for 5 years and so far I like this a lot better - it is much easier to play alone or with one other person. The variety is amazing - I think you will like it!
 
Hello! I'm new the guild, but not to WoW. My husband and I started over on Teranas when we found this guild. So we have lower toons as well. When (and if affordable) Blizzard allows toon transfers to other servers, we are going to transfer our higher toons to this server as well. But, in the meantime, we are playing on our alts.
