Seems to be quite a few people are not able to connect to the server, try these steps:

Ok i have the client installed, how do i connect to your server?
* Click connection then connect
* Click on local addressbook
* Right-click in the big blank white area on the left side..then click add server
* Type in the name of the server in the box that appears (it can be whatever you want to call it) when you are done typing press enter
* In the server address put ts.compmil.com and if that doesnt work: 66.221.110.76
* In the nickname field put whatever you want to be known as on the server
* CHECK allow server to assign nicknmes (this is in case sombody already has your nick and is online)
* Put the dot next to anonymous
* Put the following in server password: tojcccga40
* Put a checkmark next to auto-reconnect..if you loose your connection your client will automatically try to reconnect.
* Click connect
You should connect to the server and arrive in the lobby.

Didn't work for me - can still access the old server but not the new.

I think that the server must be somehow not accessible from my IP (Earthlink) for whatever odd reason. I arrive at that conclusion because I have the same problem on 2 different computers, and the only thing the computers have in common is the IP. I will contact Earthlink about this as soon as I get a chance. In the meantime, if any of you who use Earthlink are able to access the new server, please let me know so I can know I'm barking up the wrong tree.

This is a data center issue. Its not your isp or your internet. The issue is being worked on by the server owner.

Just hang tight, I should have a response to the issue in a few days.

dorkelf, when u get a chance, try connecting to: ts.christiancs.com ts server, no password, see if u get in. They are the 1s hosting the server for us, see if you can access thier server.

I was able to log into ts.christiancs.com without any problem. It was funny, as soon as I logged in someone said, "Dorkelf?? Well...hello Dorkelf." Then they logged off before I had a chance to respond.

Unfortunately, I still can't get on to the new CGA server.

Ok, if you could PM me your ISP and IP address, I'll pass that onto the server owner who will pass it onto the datacenter security. He is thinking about moving the server box to a new location. I'll relay info when I get it.

Anyone else having issues and cant connect to the new ts server, PM me with your ISP and IP address and i'll pass it onto the owner who will pass it to the datacenter security team.

between agent, myself and paul we figured out the issue. Its being dealt with, anyone with a external IP address that starts with 66 is blocked (66.x.x.x)

This is being dealt with and should be fixed in a few hours

Yay Talon! My social life has so suffered with no TS. I didn't realize how pathetic I had become until I was without it. So sad...

I could get a life....Nah!

It was a IP conflict. Server thought any IP connecting to it starting with 66, was a local loop back IP and refused connection. Reason why? The subnet mask was wrong, datacenter setup box wrong on install. Subnet mask was reset and 66.xxx.xxx.xxx ip was eliminated, now its only physical IP, and 16 virtual IPs.

Yay! Cookies for all to celebrate!

Bravo Talon and Agent! I had nothing to do with this beyond providing my IP. These guys did all the problem solving and within the day they had it all fixed. My poor wife was beginning to think her "social life" had disappeared entirely, but now all is well! :D Thanks again guys for all your help,

Paul

thats all we needed to make the corolation. We didnt make the brain connection on the 66 till we got your IP. Then it hit agent, everyone have the same problem started with 66.

Everything is running most smooth now, still got a few issues.

Everyonce in a while the entire server computer lags out and dumps the ts server and game servers, Agent is thinking about moving the computer to a different datacenter.
