In the past they had issues but Nvidia came out with new drivers. They should work fine now. Like a month ago there were problems with games and junk but its fine. I use Nvidia and Vista and I never had a problem with it.

I have also just recieved word that Intel is going to have another price cut. I think its April 22. And the 8000's series should be do soon too.

I'd recommend dual-booting XP and Vista for gaming purposes until they work out all of the bugs. I wouldn't totally convert over to Vista until Service Pack 1 comes out.

Oh yeah, just to let you know the Nvisia Price drop on the 8000 series has happened. So you might as well get one since the're are affordible now.

my mom got my dad a laptop, I was like "NOOOOO WAIT TILL THEY PATCH IT..." because it had vista but alas...

the problem is the cpu he is running isn't going to be able to feed anything higher than an 8600. don't buy more than your cpu can keep fed.
