New Jeep!

I'm a total Jeep fanatic and have been for 10 years.

I've finally bought a Jeep Wrangler! It's the 2008 model Jeep JK as seen here.

My other Jeep, a Cherokee, was aging and was starting to break down. It was looking sketchy whether or not it would make the needed drive to California early next year (it has 197,000 miles, and practically nothing electronic works on it).

I've taken the new JK off-road three times in the past week and am still getting used to how it drives. It is so much taller than my Cherokee. It also feels much, much safer. It doesn't spin out as much as the Cherokee did, and doesn't lean as much.

So anyway, I wanted to let you all know how excited I was for getting the Jeep. It's an absolute blast to drive around with the sun on your face and the wind in your hair when the top's down on a warm autumn day!

I'll post again with pictures soon.

yeah the vibe is prolly the slickest small car i would ever drive. i like blazers alot myself though

Lol but I like Cherokees... :P

I love Cherokees! I actually owned two of them at one time (I sold one of them recently, and plan on selling the other soon). Cherokees are great off-road vehicles. They will impress the socks off any unsuspecting wheelers easily.

now let me ask you this...

Off-roading?

Hm?

Sorry for the double post, but man is it fun to browse the Jeep site with the "build your own" thing. I just need 26 thousand dollars to throw around and I'm all set

Haha, I hear ya man. The one I got is the base model. It doesn't come with all the "luxuries" (hahaha) of the nicer Wranglers. The price was $19,780 or something like that.

Has anyone seen the brand new 2008 Libertys? I didn't really like the old ones, but the new ones look really sweet. Like a cross between the old Cherokee and the Commander.
