Hey everyone, I'm getting a Dell dude!!

I recently entered Earthlink's "Make The Move Sweepstake" and guess what I won a second prize, a 8300 Series Dell Dimension. The funny thing I had completely forgot about it until they called me. I prefer to build my own, but free is free

The one I'm getting has a retail of $3000, so I'm hoping I get a little better specs
 
Hi guys, I got my new comp the day after Christmas, here are the specs for it:

P4 3ghz
2gigs of ddr ram
80gb hard drive
250mb zip drive
48x Cd-rw/dvd drive
radeon 9800 pro 128mb
18" flat panel display
and a floppy drive
 
CGamer, if you need someone to test your new system for you, I could take it off your hands for, say, about 3 years. Very thorough testing of course.

, I went through and uninstalled all of the Dell pre-installed junk that was on here, I think it's all in working order now.

thought through my next upgrade (around college?) i'm switchin to Athlon and ATI's new Radeon XT series (if i can afford them)

Hey there, Flash...If you don't care much for your PC, I can take it off your hands. *G* I can always use a third--err, fourth PC. (Really, my third doesn't count since it's a 100MHz Compaq.)

Remember: if you have a broadband connection and can still play Natural Selection and Starcraft, it's all good.
 
I wish dell would have cut the ram back to 1gig and opted for the 9800xt radeon but i can't complain free is free

lol well aye i got my NS set up properly. Bleh, im still not getting the objectives and all that.
 
I just bought an 8x DVD Burner($135), and I got a 17" LCD to compliment my 19" Monitor. The viewable area is almost as much as my 19" CRT.
