I was originally going to do that, but then I realized that I can get more from Shuttle for my money than if I bought all the items separately. (the card goes for about 450 on Pricewatch.com, but I got it for 350 from Shuttle).

It's your call. If you can get it cheaper than way then go ahead and do that.

For $350 I woulda just ordered an X800 Pro or 6800 GT which has higher benchmarks in almost every test I have seen. The 9800XT is kinda of a waste also it's more of a novelty then anything else considering a 9800 Pro that costs $194 dollars can have its bios flashed and will run exactly the same.

Though In the future when I build another new computer I am defintley going to build a shuttle or use those new laptop shells and build myself a laptop. Lugging around this giant case is tireing when going to a lan party.

building a comp if you already have most of the parts can be realy cheap, if u have an extra case and most generic cards (ethernet, sound, modem, etc) you can do it for bout $250

I just got done building my new system. You took what I did and made it smaller, but faster. Here's what I just got done throwing together:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
nVidia nForce 3 250 chipset
nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 Personal Cinema w/8X AGP
512 MB DDR RAM
80 GB SATA 7200RPM HD (w/ a ATA 20 GB 7200 RPM, currently holding my Win XP 64-bit beta installation)
DVD-/+ RW drive
Front mounted card reader (CF and whatnot)
AMD Athlon 64 and Chaintech Zenith stickers on a mid-sized black tower.

Im never building a PC again... i have had nothing but trouble from mine...

Stupid cranky mobo...

I built my own and love it. No troubel at all :o

I'll post my specs later on when I upgrade my computer. (justm otherboard, and maybe a new heatsink for my CPU for more overclockage ^_^)

ive built one and rebuilt a few, and i honestly have had no props whatsoever

u have to Try it to know how to build and how it works. It's pretty simple and easy, as long as ur a long-hour reader, and u pay attention to what ur doing. Oh, and no sweating or drooling on computer parts. I think thats what rizz did.. he's got too much problems lol.
