Hello,
My name is Nathan. I usually play a Paladin on Stonemaul. My guild, WGW recently stopped it's 25 man raids. I spoke to a couple Redeemed guild members expressing an interest in joining you in raiding. However, I noticed that there are a lot of Paladins in your guild (must have something to do with a bunch of Christians wanting to play holy classes
). I talked to one of your recruiting officers and asked if there was any class you were in need of. She said that I should play what I like and that, as long as I'm good at it, I can do whatever I want. But, she did say that if there was anything on the wish list it might be more totems.
So, I have been leveling a Shaman. It's getting close to 70. When it hits 70 I was hoping to be able to join up and work towards raiding with Redeemed. I would probably make him my main for that purpose.
This brings me to the big question. What kind of Shaman is needed? I am more than happy with any one of the 3 builds. Do you want an enhancement shaman to add to the melee DPS (I've read that rogues and warriors see a 10% increase to their DPS with a shaman in the group), an elemental to add a bit to caster crit chance, hit chance, and bring healing versatility, or a resto shaman for the chain heal spam?
I really am open to any of the three. I enjoy all styles of play. Please be open with your opinions. I would expect that the final call would be made by the raid leader.
Alternately, my Paladin meets (or is very, very close to meeting) the 25 man raid requirements for both tanking and healing. If you're in need of either of those I'm happy to fill those roles. Right now I'm tanking for WGW Kara runs. If you actually want more Paladins I'll stick with that. Otherwise you've got a Shaman specced to suit the needs of the guild at your disposal.
I look forward to getting to know you all and hope that God is blessing you greatly.
Nathan
Vatic- Holy/Prot Paladin (depends on the day)
Vaylias- close to 70, undecided Shaman
