Need Prayer

Wh1te Out

I'm posting this here instead of the CGA Prayer Request thread because I specifically want you all, my gaming family, to be aware of what we're going through. We (my wife, Bella of Mountlake, and I) are having an extremely difficult time with our second child. He has a very different personality than our first and every night seems to be a battle. For whatever reason, he is almost impossible to comfort if he gets upset. All we ask is that anyone with some free time just pray for our son. Ask God, as we do everyday, to bring Tyler peace and calm at night. We want him to know that he's safe and that things will be okay.

Mommy and Daddy are at a breaking point and it's a very unhealthy situation right now. We don't need to take out our frustrations on each other but we have no choice. The hours and entire nights spent awake (literally) listening to crying and whining are wearing on us and it can't be good for him either. So please, pray for Tyler if you can.

heh, my folks always said if i was the first child they had, i would be an only child lol, stick with it. try and do differnet christian songs (i.e. jesus loves me, yes i know) also, one thing my parents always did was read to me. btw doesnt matter the age, my folks started it when i was like.....2 weeks old? i turned out alright... so far :p .

Update:

After a third straight night of zero sleep and terrible screaming fits, we ended up taking Tyler to the emergency room (this was early Thursday morning). His vital signs were fine and there was no fever, so the doctor dismissed him and basically told us "I'm sorry, but suck it up and ride it out." When we got him home he was able to get to sleep and slept until Noon, the longest he'd slept in the past three days.

Later on Thursday he had an enormous dirty diaper... meaning, it could have filled four diapers. Of course, I had the fun time of cleaning the carpet, but after that episode Tyler has been great and sleeping "like a baby." We'd appreciate continued prayer because he's a little harder to comfort than most infants anyway, but it seems that the constipation and lack of food issues were what had caused him so much grief and those have run their course.

Thanks again for all the prayer!

Awesome! Nothing like a good bowel movement to make you feel better. lol
Seriously though, I'm glad to hear that our combined prayers were answered.

I'm new here and am really late on this but I'd like to know how it turned out. I'd be happy to pray for you. We have 4 kids and each one is completely different. It's amazing how God creates so many individuals while keeping each one of us unique.

At the risk of embarassing myself, I have to take medications that can cause very serious consitpation and it can be extreemly painful. I once though I was having a heart attack from that. ::embarassed:: If you are still having problems, try adding a little whole wheat cereal to his diet. It worked wonders for me. Sorry to be so crude but I'm not sure how else to say it. :)

Absolution
