need help with divx coding

ok, how does this freaking thing work.... im tryin to do my spoof stuff in divx but i cant figuire out what im suppose to do.... help? i have the converter and the player, the converter sits for 30 min at 0% converting the movie..... my task manager says its taking 100% cpu but i doubt the converter is working properly. or im just doing it wrong or im useing the wrong thing..... help?

i have the codec but i'll go through my readmes and see what programs support it, thanks

I've never encoded with divx, but it might help someone who has troubleshoot, if you post the version of the program, os you are using etc. Or try the DivX Forums or Support .
