My Thoughts On This Situation

I'd like to start off by saying that it saddens me greatly to see so many "hot tempers" and "harsh words" by members of Redeemed Past or Present who have been upset by the desire of some to go other places besides Redeemed or ToJ. I've sat quietly in the background for the past few days in hopes that through open discussion people could express their hurts, confusions, doubts, fears etc... from this situation. I feel discussion is the only way to work out differences. I am a patient man for the most part(my wife may have a different view) but I think I speak truthfully, but my patience is drawing short for individuals on both sides.

In all honesty I truly don't understand why there is so much anger and resentment being put forth it's very disheartening to see the people I care about bickering about something that should never had been a fight to begin with.

The entire hope, my personal hope was to allow people from Redeemed and Sanctification to be able to resolve issues that may have been unspoken. I realize now that there was a lot of unspoken feelings by the posts I've recently read. Let me give you an example..
My hope for Sanctification and Redeemed was that it bring people together for one common goal, never to cause hurt or discord. I believe that God would have us work together for his glory.

I attend one church and you attend another church. do we decide to work together for the betterment of the entire community or do we cry out like Defiant children, "It's Mine, Give It Back".

My challenge to you is this...
It was never ours to begin with but God's alone. Do we give it back to God and let Him work and recieve Praise & Honor from it or Do we hold onto it like our favorite toy some other child wants.

I concur, The wonderful thing about Our Lord, is you show recept one way, I show respect another. You may Worship differently that me, but its the intention of that worship. Many of us seen 'churchs" and orgainizations spilt because differences. So good, some bad. And the offenses and wounds that follow are painful.

I have deep personal feelings about the whole issue, and hence our departure before those offenses rooted in us. But let it go. Sanification will do wonderful things, as will Redeemed. Some will stay, some will go, but either way do it with a clean spirit.

If you are wounded and upset, (PM) that person contructively, humbly and if need be, ask (GEN) to moderate. or me or Dawife. But get clean and in the right spirit of things. A lot of hurt seems to be at the root of this. Sometimes I do not think God is really measuring who was right and who was wrong, but how you and I as His children, react to our offenses (trails and tibulations) and work toward the greatest of all commandments,

Reflect on it.

Luke 10:27

What are you doing to honor that law, and what needs to happen for you, me, our community, Redeemed and Sanification to be able to move forward with clean spirits.

*wink* Its all good :)
