In the light of recent posts, i think a lot of us should re-examine ourselves and Redeemed.
I think a few key ideas are:
1. we are here to be a light for Him.
2. we are here to have fun
and when these 2 are not met we have problems. People get upset or frustrated.
What makes it worse is that we cause a lot of the problems ourselves.
I understand why people act the way the did, because I went through it myself.
As Dridri I was totally in the "must get the next loot", "must be on top of the meter" mode. That is ok as long as the raid/guild does not suffer because of it. But what often ended up happening is that I started dps when I wasn't suppose to and so on. The result is I got aggro and died and the raid suffers. (This is just one example of what not to do)
On the other hand, I wish people are more forgiving when things like this happen. I know it's frustrating to go through the details and put up with the wipes everytime there is a new comer to the raid. But please consider more on how that person feels. Sometimes I just pressed a wrong button is the moment of panic.
To be honest, that is one of the reasons that I stopped playing Dridri.
Redeemed is a very unique guild in that we have a wide range of players. We have those who are in here for the end game raids and those who are still leveling. This is one reason that Redeemed is a nice guild to be in. We don't force people to do certain things and the overall enviorment is more relaxed and you get to meet a lot of different people. But at the same time it's hard to meet the needs of everyone. But we can definately make it more enjoyable if we are more considerate to each other.
What I am trying to say is that please don't put yourself above the guild or raid and care more about the people around us. Teamwork. We are here for each other, to build each other up not to tear each other down.
My last comment is for people who are frustrated that they didn't get into kara or didn't get to go as often as they hoped. One thing please try to understand is that there is A LOT that goes into planning a raid. You must have the right classes, have the right gear. And we ALL worked very hard to get attuned and get the right gears so we can pull our own weight. I do want to thank the leaders for coming up with 3 teams so that people do get to go more often. There are so much that goes into leading, it doesn't surprise me at all they feel burned out.
Please don't let this happen. You can do your part by being patient.
I am sorry if I sounded harsh. I care about Redeemed and I don't want to see friction between people. I want Redeemed to be an enjoyable place for all of us.
Thank you for reading this long post
