My new daily thread

I suppose since tomorrow is Sunday and supposed to be a day of rest you won't be working on Boomtown at all will you? Is it done yet so you don't have to worry about it tomorrow?
 
You never WORK on your hobbies. You enjoy them. So has Gerbil enjoyed his TF2 map making hobbies to the point where Boomtown is done?
 
Since today is yesterday's tomorrow that makes tomorrow yesterday in 2 days. Does that mean Boomtown is done today, yesterday, tomorrow or when you get it done Gerbil?

It means Gerbil takes to long to do everything XD.

At least I am working on it regularly and not being lazy though XD.
 
I'm gonna have to get TF2 just to see this map, It has to be great since its taking so long to make, lol
 
Well you have to get TF2 because you have to get TF2. There's no tautology there.. if you think about it it makes sense.

But once BOOMtown comes out you'll be thankful you already had TF2

It's an amazing map.

TF2 is one of the most fun and unique FPS's out there. It also happens to be really easy to play and it's free. And as much as people complain about the hats and weapon drops it's also the only F2P game I know of that has no real play difference between free and pay players. It is in effect the only F2P game out that is not P2W.

It's 5:25 am. Is Boomtown finished yet?
 
So it's looking more and more like my laptop has died. Still looking into the problem but it doesn't seem happy. This means I won't be able to play at work this Tuesday. I'm still gonna ask every day but unless some miracle happens you have 2 more weeks to finish it before I can play Gerbil. Is it done yet? Cause it would figure that you'd finish when I can't play.

Was honestly hoping that you were gonna blame your lappy's death-like state on the lack of Boomtown. Y'know... "Got a headache, and the only cure is more cowbell" style.
 
In the interest of full disclosure...

1. A few weeks ago I fell off the "no games until next map version wagon" for a couple days but have since deleted the offending game and been clean since.
2. A month or more ago I thought I would be done with a new version by now so I obligated myself to playing in a future highlander scrim team (because I've never had the chance before and I was not likely to again). Well times up so if you see me on Steam playing TF2 (on a non-Tuesday) that is why. Practice (if people show) is supposed to be 7:30 tonight and our trial scrim is 9:00 tomorrow.
3. Regardless work continues on my map when I am not being lazy and doing nothing XD but at least I'm not lazy and playing games.

Oh and I will have to see about recording a demo or replay if the scrims happen.

Wow! Enjoy the Scrim and stuff. Gotta do stuff like that to keep fresh and continue to enjoy the game. All work and no play ya know? Is boomtown finished enough to play the scrim on?
