My Mom

LITSAFALDA

Prayer Angel, Moderator
I rarely if even post private or personal prayers publically here even though I keep up with most of yours. Weird for me not to just do it but I tend to be overly cautious.

Anyway some of you know that the past few years for my family have been met with more sorrow than happiness. This has had a large impact on my mom especially as she does not have a spouse any more (due to the suddent death of my dad) and for some reason her "friends" I am using that lightly don't even appear to have an ounce of compassion.

When I called her earlier to just say "Hi" I was met with tears and sorrow and grief and etc. She's also trying to decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life and where she wants to do it. She turns 63 later this month and with God's blessings she will probably have many more years here on Earth. (She made me promise not to tell anyone local what she's feeling etc including her wonderful Pastor.)

I would just ask for your prayers to send her God's blessings and to let God actually show her what those are. It would probably do her some good to have a few "new" friends come into her life that would just be an aid to her.
Blessings,"Angel"

ditto what Gen said, i will add --- it's about His timing not ours.

I will be praying for her....and you as well;)

I couldn't say things any better Gen or Froggy

My Prayers are with her Litsafalda as well as with you :)

Smiles I appreciate the prayers and can see God working through all of us. Over the next couple of weeks, my dad's birthday, my parents anniversary
(45th), and my mom's birthday will happen. Two of the three of those are going to be very difficult for my mom. Even though this week she's starting to do a bit better, I also know things will probably hit another rough patch.

I am hoping for God to keep showing her many blessings and that the devil will leave her alone and not cause her any doubts.

Blessings,"Angel"

Just wanted people to actually know how prayers can be answered even when they aren't really known about. My Mom forbid me to tell any of the people that were around her how upset she was etc. I think it's funny though how someone you don't even know can pray and it helps. I have spent the past several days with her and she's been quite busy and the phone ringing etc. Even this morning when we didn't get there for early church someone was calling saying we'd better get there for late.

A group of her friends went out to dinner with her on my Dad's birthday. I made sure she had fresh flowers for today (their 45th anniversary) for both her and some to take for Daddy's graveside. Tomorrow more than likely someone will have her out to dinner or my brother will.

I wanted to say thank you for all of your prayers and if on occassion you could just keep my mom in them I would really appreciate it.

Blessings,"Angel"

My condolences to you and your family, Angel. It's great to see God responding to the prayers of unknown brothers and sisters, we will be praying for your mom and your family.
