My daughter needs your prayers....

Just like the title suggest.

My daughter was born on January 4th, 2005. Weighing 7lbs 14oz; and 20 1/4 inches long. When my fiance went in for her visit on the 3rd they found that the fluid in her system was low and since she was overdure; that it was time to induce labor. Now for the bad news....

When they pulled her out of the womb; they had to suction alot of fluid out of her chest when she was born. The mid-wife explained to us that she may have trouble eating but she should be ok. However today she was dehydrated; so they've set her up on IV's, doing a catscan (which I haven't been giving the results of yet), and keeping her until her vitals stabilize.

I feel sick atm because I know there is nothing I can do for my dauther. I hope that a prayer can cure us both. I looked into her eyes; held her first; changed her diaper last night (much to Jess's surprise), and love her very dearly. This is our first daughter and I don't know how I would react if we lose her. Right now only Jess (my fiance; the mother) is the only one allowed up there so I can't see her.

Please pray for the 3 of us. Jess is torn apart; I've cried a few times myself; and I can only imagine what it must be like for little Natalie Marie-faye (our daughter). I've prayed to Jesus; God; and I will keep praying that she'll start eating.

I'll try and get back in a few days with an update on her health.

My prayer for your family,
I ask of thee of Lord to intervene in their lives and pour out you healing and overshadow them with your love. I pray thee oh God that thou sendest thy mightiest angel in thy midst oh God and bring healing to their newborn daughter Natalie Marie-faye and deliver her from the ordeals of birth and complications Father. For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever in Jesus name I do pray for this family. Amen

Smiles it never amazes me too much how compassionate and loving this community can be. I personally spoke with Matt last night over the phone because I just knew he needed to know that we were with him and that he was not alone in this. He has a tremendous faith and a lot of compassion. Since his access is very limitted when I know something I will try to keep the community up-to-date on this precious baby.

Earlier today, I received a wonderful phone call with an update. Matt's whole mood was 100% better in less then one day. He called to let me know that they took out the feeding tube on the baby and she became a "piglet"......his word not mine. It appears that things are looking up for this precious little one. Matt appreciates all of your prayers for both himself and his family. When he is able I am sure he will post his own praise. I would also like to request that you keep praying because when many of us agree in prayer things happen.

THank you so much everyone. I really feel that the Lord has blessed our baby. I haven't been able to see her much since Friday; because they've discharged Jess. Unfortunatley they haven't let her (Natalie) come home yet either.

Tonight I was talking to my fiance and she's getting irate that they're not letting Natalie come home yet. Please keep the prayers coming; there is no such thing as to much praying.

I'll be praying for everyone; and their families too as I always do. If anyone has a request for a prayer; take it to the lord and I'll pray that he hears you.

Sorry due to some of my own personal situations, I have just recently been back in contact with Matt. He called to let me know that last Sunday was his daughters first trip to church. Things seem to be going well for them and hopefully we will hear some wedding bells by the end of the year. I would also keep him in your prayers as he starts making some decisions over the next few months. Blessings,"Angel"
 
Hello Everyone :-)

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted an update of my own. If work isn't keeping me busy, then my family or Fiance's family is :-)

Natalie is wearing a brace at the moment for her hips, she's ok though so don't worry. With some help from the lord, and her wonderful mother's gene's she'll come through this and her hip will set right.

As for me, I'm in the process of looking for a new job. So I could use everyone's prayers there. But don't pray for me to find a new job, pray that my employer will wisen up and stop wasting company money before my colleagues and I are out of work.
