Hey guys,

I was wondering what kind of music you're into. I tried searching the old threads, but I didn't see anything recent. Sorry if this is too soon of a repost.

In the rock/metal category:
Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, P.O.D.

In the rap/hip-hop category:
Lecrae (just discovered him, he's awesome), Grits, KJ-52, some T-Bone

In the 'lighter stuff' category:
Relient K, Falling Up, Kutless

Let me know what you think, and kick in some suggestions if you like anything similar. I need as much as I can to stay away from all that crap on the radio.

I think you'll really like Spoken, too. They're a very good band with an original sound.

Shagz and I like electronic/urban/funk/jazz stuff. He's a professional DJ, and he's got some mixes available here. I'm a hobbyist composer, and I've got free tracks available here and also on MySpace Music.

My top 5 artists would be something like:
Orbital
High Contrast
Boards of Canada
Thievery Corporation
Hybrid

I also enjoy the occasional Christian hardcore metal band, mainly for concerts.

Anyway, I like tobyMac and relient K, although I think in some ways RK has gone too mainstream
