Who's in?

I sit out Movember solely because my beard is older than some forum members (yes, seriously, anyone 13 or older can register an account on the forums and I grew out my beard 13 years ago) and I may lose my awesome admin powers if I shave it, but if anyone does sign up for Movember to raise funds, please let us know here!

I'm in, just skipping the whole shaving thing. I also participate in No-Shave November as well, keeping with my whole I'm not shaving it off at the start position.

I still use it for the appropriate reasons though. :)

i cant for work :(

edit: mostly because it looks super patchy and like im homeless and my work suggested i not when i asked about it

Is it too late to set up a Christian Gamers Alliance Movember team?

EDIT: Nope, it's not!
How do I start a team?
In Step 2 of the Registration process you will have the option to create a team or join one that already exists. Simply enter a team name that you would like to use.

If you miss this step, you can click team on the left hand side of your private Mo Space page and start (or join) a team from there!

It looks like we'd have to create two teams: One for the US, one for Canada.

What say you, gentlemen? Anyone willing to coordinate the effort to make CGA US and/or Canada Movember teams?

I detest having my real name used, but the cause is more than worth it, I just joined the Christian Gamers Alliance team US. And yes I have my annual blood work done to screen for cancer and other nasties. My cancer insurance pays me to get my annual blood work done. And considering I get it done free through the VA it is a win-win situation. Men go get the test done, it is cheap early detection.

Did this the past 3 years and couldn't get anyone to join me. Now I decide to sit it out and everyone want to do it? Hmmpf!

ohh wait, I didn't read all the prereqs... I have to completely shave today (well yesterday) ehhhhhhhh I dunno.

Movember is a Men's Health fundraiser/awareness raiser started by some guys in Australia. It involves a clean shaven face on November 1st and a Mo (or mustache) on November 30th.

I don't get the Mo part (kind of a stretch from mustache), I heard it called No-Shave No-Vember the first time I heard of it.

It started in Australia where a group of guys were trying to raise funds for their friend. Mo is Australian slang for mustache. No shave November is a college thing. This has become a world wide fund raiser / awareness raiser event.

I'm already in a team for work otherwise I'd join up. :) How's it going for everyone. I miss my goatee!

Not gonna Lie, I just skip the shaving part... :P No-Shave November is what I've always gone with, but it's a good cause, and I'm more than happy to support it.

We're nearing the end of November, so it's time to donate if you haven't already!

You all know how chea--err, frugal I am and I just finished donating $10 to the cause.

You can donate, too! Just visit the Christian Gamers Alliance Movember Team page, click Donate to Team, and donate by Paypal or credit/debit card!

Please only donate if you've already paid your monthly bills and have already tithed to your local church.

3 more days and I can get rid of this thing. I grow a rather scraggly tri-colored 'stache, black, grey and white. I wore one for over 30 years before I first got rid of it, my daughter and wife were really upset when I first shaved it off, I just didn't look like me. Now that it is back I am getting hints to keep it. See the trouble ya got me in.
