My dad took my mom to a local emergency room Monday morning where doctors determined that she was bleeding internally. They've since isolated the bleeding and given her transfusions and medicine that should stop the bleeding.
Please pray that my mother makes a swift recovery and there are no complications.
Please also pray that this surprise visit to the hospital does minimal financial damage to my family. Neither of my parents have insurance, so staying multiple days in the hospital, combined with additional procedures and materials, is going to make for a very hefty bill.
Please also pray that the Lord sustains my father during my mother's hospital stay. He's been sleeping very little so he can stay at my mother's side and keep the hospital staff under close watch.
