Mom took over

I nearly pee'd myself. Your mom took the computer to look at dogs. Hahahaha!!! Did the computer see any dogs it liked?

We did very well. 3 attempts at domo!

None of them really felt right for some reason. I don't think it was the strat, and it was not necessarily the gear, ( 4 of the 5 tanks looked pretty decent to me) My thoughts are that it might be that its the first fight where you can't sit back, you have to actually be on your toes. We might have like 25 very skilled players that are pulling 15 others through MC, and they can't do that on Domo

I was there for the first attempt and everything seemed to be going very well until a few min into the figt, domo started running around and so did a few adds. Domo run around=dead healers=dead tanks=more adds=dead raid.

So I think keeping domo from attacking other people is our main problem however, I could be wrong...

What if we put two tanks on Domo? The MT will grab aggro first, and after the first 5 sunders, the offtank runs in and both warriors spam sunders. That way if the MT gets tele'd or something, instead of going after a healer, domo will attack the OT.

We didn't have two tanks to put on domo though. Only had 5. One for domo and one for each elite.

We also had another thing against us: It was the 6th boss for us that night, which meant we had 35 very tired people.

This week the team has to focus, we should be able to get shaz down the first night, leaving only two bosses before domo on saturday.

From my viewpoint We were having trouble into the fight at the 3rd boss. At that point Tanks were dying, loosing agro and Priests were dying or out of Mana. Part is because we have a huge difference in people in our raids. We have a elite group of people with very good gear. Then we have a group of people with greens for equipment. Its no fault of any of those people but its just very hard to do Domo with poorly geared people. Out of mana or not being able to tank and keep agro for extended periods of time. I was pulling agro with no effort at all on the 2nd to 3rd Priest we were fighting. I know for one Strongtower was allready out of mana by the 3rd Healer we were fighting and he was 3rd on the healing charts. That is a compliment to Strongtower but that means we have alot of people who have alot better gear than him that need to be doing some more healing. I dont mean to be critical but there is no way a new Priest should come into MC with no purples and be able to be 3rd on the healing charts.

Domo is more dependent on sheeps and killing those that are up fast. Tanking is done with taunting mainly on this fight because the dps should be in right after the tank taunts and puts up the first sunder.

I know im new to the guild and new to mc, etc but IMO our problem is we are sluggish to acquire the next target. would it be possible after the first 2 kills(assuming we kill 2 that arent sheeped first) for a tank to pick up the next target and bring it to the kill zone? I mean before the last mob dies to already have a tank on the sheep/pig to break sheep and pull it back into the kill zone near the entrance. That seems like it would make things easier. its a mad house for those of us doing melee to try and find the pig/sheep with the right color above its head, and a few times last night it ended up being completely behind the fire pit and we fought it there which has to bring the healers and casters up and right into the path of domo if he loses interest in the tank. There was also a few times a couple of us rogues found the mark but tanks never did and casters got anxious and ended up breaking pig and rogus end up chasing mobs all over with no tanks ever able to get on it(not blaming the tanks as I think a few died by the time we got a few adds in) while the mob mows down squishies.

From what ive seen i agree with both Reco and Where we have ppl who need to not AFK for a sec during the fight and also we need to be more fast on the up take i realize that i dont have a 60 in there anymore but ive been to the attempts and Where ur suggestion is a good on of having a tank bring the next one over or even as the adds about to die everyone run on over to the next target for Domo everyone just has to stay alert and up about it not get down in the dumps

If the idea is to bring the sheeped adds to the group, why not have the mage that is sheeping head to the kill zone when it is called out? There is so much hate on that mage from the amount of sheeping done to it, it will flock to the caster (and the kill zone). just a thought.

All of you have a good point and good ideas. I think one of the problems in the end also was that it was one tanks very first time in MC and unfortunately, he was the one that was supposed to be running around and tanking the adds that were to be taken down. I think it was a lot of strain on him and I would've liked to put a more experienced tank on that task but, no offence to him, I wasn't sure how long he'd stay alive against one of the elites. I think what we really need in this fight is more tanks that can stay alive while the dps is taking down the adds.

This is just my opinion from a tank/warrior's perspective. And I agree with Icthus...gear in the Domo fight is a factor.

The main problem with domo last night appeared that too many people were stealing agro from the tanks.......and you can't blame the mages as they were shepperding their flock.
