Dear bruthas & sistas-
I'm starting this thread as a "catch up" thread for the many of us that have fallen of the grid. I really enjoyed hanging out with many of you during our HA runs. It was cool getting on TS and just laughing and blaming everything on Andrew (Dredd)! :D

Well, this is what I've been up to lately...
I very much enjoyed going the the storyline of GW:EN. It was creative and the graphics are noticeably better. One of my goals was to get Wiseman a Bandana and Chaos gloves. Mission accomplished! =)

I was surprised how few dungeons you "have" to complete to finish the game. :confused: So, now I try to get on from time to time and finish a dungeon. Unfortunately, they can take up to a couple hours to get through, so I haven't finished many. My goal os to finish each of them at least once.

I've been busy with life. My wife has enjoyed me not being on GW as much lately. :p It's been nice to hang with her and my boys more. I do hope to be able to squeeze in some HA eventually.

Well, that's my update. I hope you are each are experiencing all of God's best. He knows you, loves you, and has an INCREDIBLE plan for your life!

I haven't had much time to play GW due to school. I love interacting here with posting, but until breaks, don't expect to see me on (sadly). :D
 
Uhh, Redoing my personal website from wordpress to drupal. Bashing my head against the wall. Spreading anti-microsloth propaganda. Trolling. And of course, doing homework.
 
ya, school work, and taking over the world in Medieval: Total War. So far i've gotten France, England, Germany, Sicily, the western Mediterrain Islands, North and Northeastern Spain. and the North part of Italy.
YAY WORLD DOMINATION!

oh, and im also taking Hill 192 in Company of Heros.

Let's see, I went to Anime Weekend Atlanta, where a friend and I had a booth in the artist's market, so that kept me very busy and very sleep-deprived, getting ready for it.

I spent time with my beloved husband, and I worked and went to church. There were also many meals in that time...

Now I'm knitting a dishcloth and making an artist trading card for a dishcloth swap with a nice Christian woman from Texas. Then I plan to start selling some of my handmade books on etsy, because I love making them but can't justify keeping them all...

Oh, and I've played Guild Wars and Diablo II. :)

Ditto that. Most of that. Well, all of it except the crafts stuff. Glad to hear you're gaming responsibly Will, I'm sure your wife appreciates the extra time with her. If you get to the point that you can justify regular PvP without sacrificing important family time, I hope you'll join us. We've been doing pretty well lately, trying a lot of different builds, earning a little fame here and there but mainly just playing and having fun. It seems that our people have good attitudes even when we get creamed and the other team makes fun of our 'randomway' build. I credit some of that to some of our newer people like Caro and Ace who really love PvP but know how to have a good time win or lose. I've always appreciated you good Christian attitude too Will as well as your skill as a PvP player and with builds. Hope to see you again sometime soon.

Let's I been on a little less lately because of Halo 3. Let see my Paintball team wrapped up second place in our league. Showing up to every events pays off even if you finish last at every event! Other than that Just GW and Halo 3 and work and church and friends and making sentences go on and on without proper grammer and puncuation and spelling who needs those any way?!

i just got a promotion at work. (yay Shift Supervisor!) it's not taking up any more time than usual, but i seem to have less time to relax recently....

that's about it for me... not much time for GW, and no money for GW:EN... hoping for that for my birthday on monday, we'll see.

not that i'll have any more time for it....
 
Sounds like a lot of work and homework has been keeping you guys busy.
Thanks for taking the time to lemme know what's been up with ya. Paul & Dea, thanks for the encouragement. I miss you guys too! Dea, I've tried to recruit my wife to GW and she refuses. Feel free to pray for her! =) At least my 13 yr old and I get to play together at times!
Hopefully I can join you guys for HA on Friday. We'll see. =)

I have tried to recruit my wife as well, but she has absolutely no interest in GW whatsoever. unfortunately for me my sons are only 8 mos and 2 1/2, so I need to tackle potty training before GW :)
 
Im trying to get my gf to join GW, but she's been playing Ragnarok Online (eeeewww...) and is busy with college..i'll keep trying though..i suppose buying it as a gift for Christmas would work via the "guilt trip".but yah,school is oppressing me too
 
Work has kept me really busy lately. In GW I've been skipping around between characters and objectives, having trouble focusing on getting any one thing done. I'm up to the last mission in Prophesies and 2nd to last in Nightfall with my paragon and still haven't done either because I got distracted with something else.

I tried to get my wife to play once. I bought a second account, she rolled a warrior (pre-sear) named Kayll Tryt (I love that name) but said she didn't want to do it anymore when she hit lvl 2 and I tried explaining assigning attribute points.

I was wondering why I haven't seen you in a while Baron, congrats on your promotion at work. Dea and I haven't played GW:EN too much, would be glad to team up with you on it if you do get it Monday. Hope to see you again soon,
