Medal of Honor: Airborne

I tried the demo and it is fantastic. Very shiny, as usual. Visually detailed, sound, etc.

The 1 thing that confuses me is the minimum requirements is 2.8Ghz.
I run the demo game on Med-High video settings on 2.4Ghz...
It is quite a fun game, especially the weapon system, very cool upgrades.

Now, I'm waiting till EA.com can tell me if it is compatible with my Operating System before I buy the actual game. Cause frankly, I'm very annoyed when I play a demo, it works. When I buy the full version and try to install it, doesn't work.

i spent 8 hrs, downloading the Demo (cause i was playing another game while it was DLing) and when i tried to start it i get "Your video card isn't compatible with MoH: Airborn"

AHHHHHHHH!!!! >_<

Yeah I'm not on best terms with EA after my BF2 experience. I mean, they should've just spent the extra .02 cents on the ink and wrote "not compatible with the Radeon 9200 series", but no. They just said it worked for 8500 and above. It took me a month to figure it all out and actually be able to take it and get my money back

their tech support is a guy who doesn't know what he's doing, an illiterate chimp, a bottlenose dolphin, and a potted plant. I don't buy many games from them (aside from BFME: II--except THAT crashes during multiplayer, for me anyway) so I probably won't get Airborne

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts. I’m sorry for the difficulty that you are having with the game.

Unfortunately the game only supports Windows XP or Vista (32-bit)
Note: Windows XP Service Pack 2 is required to play the game

*sighs*

Figures...still, I can enjoy the demos.

Least not a lot of people can out-match my 4 GB of Ram.

Makes sense why my new games work, they aren't Vista compatible

I've played a bit of the MohA on highest game detail settings and it seems like I would want another gig of ram to play it comfortably on the high detail settings.

Some of my System Specs is:

Pentium 4 3.06Ghz Hyperthreading
1 Gig DDR-400 Generic Ram
7600GT DDR3 256MB Videocard AGP
Soundblaster Audigy Value

Yeah, you make it on Recommended requirements.

What about mine?

Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4Ghz
4GB Ram
7900GS 256MB PCI-E
Windows XP Pro 64

Processor:
• For Windows XP:
2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP 2800+
For Windows Vista:
3.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 3800+

I don't know whether Athlon 64 3800 2.4Ghz is fast as
Pentium 4 3.06Ghz or not but I think you got more than
enough ram for MohA and 7900GS that you got is better
than my 7600GT DDR3 256 MB.

I think its better to use Win XP Home 32 Bit or XP Pro 32 Bit
than Win XP Pro 64 Bit.

a 2.2ghz Anthlon 64 is much faster then a 3.0ghz p4. The Anthlon XP requirement would probably be 3000+ or 3200+ to be equivelent to a 2.8ghz.
