Matrix: Revolutions

I I just seen it a little while ago. I loved it. I dont know why none liked the ending I felt satisfied and wouldent change anything. What is this nipple tweak you guys are talking about? Did I go into lalaland and miss somthing?

You don't want to know. I just remember it being a scene in the movie (but don't remember exactly where) I just remember saying to myself, "Oh no they didn't!" But they did. 'doh!

Don't read any further if you don't want to know something abou the ending.!!!!

Sorry, I just felt the ending was very blasphemous, and I thought it was totaly uncalled for.  To make him out to be what he was is one thing but they way it was portrayed was mocking in nature.  They could have made him a messiah like character the way he was made out to be throughout the trilogy without doing it the way they did.  The words "IT IS DONE or FINISHED" (I can't remember exactly) is what completly irked me.  Up until that point I was ok with the movie.  But like I posted in the Tribforce Forum, I shouldnt let that stop me from liking the rest of the movie.  Great effects and battle scenes throughout it.

The whole trilogy had religious (not just Christian) undertones to it but that line bothered me.  Am I the only one who noticed it?

I do understand i what your saying. I was kind of mad the way the portraid Neo as a messiah. I was also angery with the way the used God's name in vain so much.

"Good story-writers always do that  Its a common tactic. Like in Marathon."
Its one thing to end it very openly where you can determine it for yourself. Then theres a point where the director has to give you something to  make your oppinion about, it seemed like they  just showed us all this stuff without ever telling us about it.

I have a feeling were going to see "Matrix Resurrection" that takes place 3 days after rev where neo comes back.

I never saw it that way. Of course they didn't toss Neo in a cave and whatnot but it does have a few paralells to the Christ story. I disliked the ending, as it leaves the possibility for another sequel and me plunking down another $5 to go see it. I could have gone for an epilogue right before the credits. I saw the nipple tweak and had a good laugh.

Anime with human actors. Thats what the matrix is. The last battles reminded me of the DragonBall series, frankly any other super-kung-fu anime for that matter.

"Imagine how could it would have been with better writing/dialouge and a real actor in the lead role ;) "

/me smacks exodus with a cardboard cut-out of reeves

(i think) The Wachowski brothers based the whole set of films on their own religeous belief system which is loosely based on scientology.. Obviously it is fiction but the undertones are what you are getting from their beliefs.

As for the ending.. it wasnt an ending.. what happens to the matrix? the machines cant live without the matrix and the humans cant live with it..i guess..in reality they are just back where they started just with a different level of control and dependance..

Very true. The set of films was actually an attempt to make a live action Anime film in the conception.. I think that is where lots of people lose interest in the second and third films.. If you are a fan of japanese films then you will know what i mean. All the complex dialogue and plot unraveling. the long fight scenes and the always swaying power battles between good and evil...

they find out how to clear the sky

I havent seen the movie but thats my guess

Aparently that will be discoursed at length in "The Matrix Online", the WB's new gold mine now that the trilogy is over. It'll be an MMORPG which I may have to take a look at just for the sake of it being an MMORPG.

Did anyone else walk in to the Fellowship of the Ring and wonder when the elf king was going to say "Well well, Mr. Baggins. We've missed you." I had a hard time watching the movie and couldn't take my mind off the fact that Hugo Weaving was engrained in my mind as Agent Smith, seeing him as an elf was too funny.

*falls out of chair* AH! You too?

I think it was my best friend (who you all know as Elihu) who said, during the movie, he was thinking, "So, Mr. Baggins, I see you've decided to take the ring."

Tell me, Mister Aragorn. How can you profess your love to my daughter... if you're unable to speak?

I saw it yesterday, and I have to say I loved the ending. The way they portrayed neo and how he beats smith is incredible. I don't think its blasphemous at all, sorry but I just don't.

btw, what nipple thing are you talking about? I didnt see that... O_o

It was near the begining, some sort of dance/rave thing and some one was twisting a female nipple. =/

I remember my former girlfriend pointing out a butt-grab in the first matrix.

lol, theres so many freaks being....uh....freaks in that scene that I wouldn't have seen that if I was looking for it. I did see the really mini skirt thing tho.
