Map Suggestions

If anyone has any ideas for cool maps to put on the ToJ server please post them here.

A few points to note...

1. Proper maps only. NO fy/aim/ etc.. maps.
2. No fun maps (rats/awp_map)
3. If you do not post a download link.. i wont even think about it..

The best maps will be sent to elite for consideration so please take the time to search out some good maps. This is for those that tire of the sniper/dust2/aztec rotation..
 
i'm not sure what to say... me and 4t0p agree. The apocalypse is surely coming!

Wildwest Assault flat out pwns you... Please add to the rotation if possible rizz0r.

** on a sidenote, while the sniper.bsp map is cool and all, its WAY overplayed... I was on the server a bit yesterday and it was LITERALLY every other map... I'm already learning to hate it. DOWN WITH SNIPER!
 
I have recently noticed that maps that revovle around awps become easily hated. Awp_map was to burn, and now sniper.
Sad, we just need to not over play them.
 
Hey guys!

We play alot of CS at Trib...and one of the maps that I've found has good playability is de_karachi01.  Just make sure you admin this map when it is being played cuz n00bs are having a tendancy of camping it out for fear of learning the map layout.  (typical)

I personally also recommend de_rise with but one drawback - the terr. buy zone is horrible.  Half the guys that spawn have to run forward into the buy zone!

I'd love to have feedback from you guys to also find out what other maps you are having success with.  Find our maps in our database section from:

Coutner-Server maps

There are a lot of fun maps (for example, de_walmart) and other cool maps. most of them are de_ and cs_. ignore the fy_ or others if u must

BTW, I vote to remove sniper from the map list forever and add awp_map or something. Everytime I check on the ToJ server, the map is on Sniper -- and it's not that fun of a map. Awp_map is funner plus it's not overplayed.
 
I'll be the first to say ... I like playing sniper!

My favorite is dust2, and I also like inferno, aztec, nuke, train, mill, and dust.
 
I like sniper too but i dont liek sniper 24/7 and tower campers get annoying pretty fast.

I tried wildwest and its cool. I love the alternate ways you can go. I fell through the skylight though...
 
Oh and i have the lists of maps.. but i dont have the time to tryout 2000 maps.... Thats why i want you to put your favourites on here....

me votes off sniper for awp_city and me votes off assault2k and assault_upc and anything else that drives people off the server
 
We already have de_dawn to my knowledge.

Sniper was a *replacement* for awp_map because awp_map was just rotten.
 
i thought sniper was just for the awp tournament??

but anyways, I say we remove arabstreets. Everytime that map comes up i get kicked from the server cos it complains that the map I have is not the same as what the server has, even though I've re-downloaded it.

oh well.
 
At the moment wildwest assault is looking w00tish.. i think i will ask elite to change it for assault2k on the server.. I still havent tested any others yet though.
 
Has anyone here ever played cs_school. I dont think its on our server, but its a cool map. Ive been trying to find a link for you rizz, but so far the only place ive found it is in a map pack @ csnation. if i find one i'll post it here for you
 
de_desktop was cool for the few times that I played it, as was de_rats. Anyway, per Rizze's request I post to you scout_map to download. You also may want to try scoutzknivez if this map goes over well with the crowd.
 
i'm personally not fond of maps that don't allow purchasing of all weapons.

but that's just me

anyways a few suggestions
we need a speedball and my fav. speedball is tdspeedball

Then there is also Rapid Transit


and Aztec 2
