What is good free and low profile?

Adaware - Browser protection, Real time protection (free)
Avast - free antivirus and sandbox
WoT - free for warning of untrustworthy websites

These are my basic items, I also use Spybot (free), and Malwarebytes (free)

An effective but not free program I use is Bullguard. Never had a problem with malware and viruses while using it.
Of course, you can never have too much computer security. So I also use internet browser plugins; Adblock Plus, Ghostery, ect.

Always stand by Malwarebytes and for anti-virus I have been running Comodo with good results.

MSE is good. I also use Malwarebytes if I need to bring out the big guns.

I never test for infections inside the possible infected operating system. I use the offline scanner form microsoft for this purpose. As far as client protection goes I use avg free or mse for the free stuff..otherwise i use avg cloudcare and sophos endpoint cloud. I am a reseller of avg cloudcare and a sophos solution partner..but i do not partner with companies whose products i have either used or are currently using. When cost is the ultimate it's avg free or MSE.
