I know that the servers were down this morning at 9:30 am EST, but why are they still down at 8:21 pm EST? Are they having problems with select servers?

this is really bad..every tuesday something goes wrong and i can't play...only time in the week i can really play because i start work late on wednesdays...:(

Well today is a messsssss.

I was on earlier. They have given two we will be up in 30 mins post. the last one is almost 2 hours old.

Every realm has about 500 people in line............................... :confused: :eek:

Something went wrong with patching this morning...I got word at 5pm Mountain (7pm Eastern) that all the servers that are NOT up (stonemaul included) were going to be down for another 8 hours :(
 
Server maintenance... they must have done somthing to the thing that remembers peoples names. < /golfclap @ Blizzard >
 
oh. I thought someone said something about a patch. I guess I'm just seeing things.
 
I just find blizzards math kind of funny, Stonemaul was down for something like 10 hours yesterday but is not one of the servers on the list that is going to get a free day, luckily Illidan is, and I still have a character there.

What is even more amazing is they are going to give all characters on ever server full rest state but to be able to do this it requires them to take the servers down for three hours. So to give us rest for the downtime on tuesday they are going to bring the servers down again on thursday, and will likely break something else and be down for endless hours on my day off.

During yesterday’s maintenance, upgrades were made to both the in-game client and to the hardware infrastructure. These changes caused extended downtime for some players.

In addition to providing a one-day time extension for players whose realms underwent extended maintenance, characters on all realms will be receiving a full rest state bonus. In order to apply this rest state bonus to all players, we will need to bring all realms down for approximately three hours, beginning at 3:00 AM PST, Thursday March 31.

If you are playing at that time of the morning then there are several good christian counselors I know.
 
Well seeing as the down time is between 6am and 9am est no I would not be playing, but when this downtime drags onto 11am like normal blizzard downtime then yes I may be up on my day off playing world of warcraft at that time.

I feel worse for the Australians out there when this kind of down time always happens during there prime time.
 
This is wack, and how would you still play during the down time since the servers are down? We have one hour to go, lets see if Blizzard can stay true to their word...
