M.O.X is gonna be a new hero sometime in the September update. Did anyone else know about this? I can't see how I missed it.. but I did..

But cool! I think we have plenty of heroes as it is. And 1 more will just crowd the Hero selection even more. But now you can have 4-5 dervish teams! (3 derv heros, 1 player, 1 hench (NF)) And it'll be a golem!!

Thoughts? Discussion? Lemonade?

It's real. I saw the announcement on guru a week or 2 ago. Regina had already replied in the thread and confirmed it.

Well actually the leak on guru was a huge rant thread. Information had leaked out that Anet was marketing a new "Ultimate Edition" on Sept. 5 which will include all 4 games in 1 box. Also included in the box is an exclusive new hero, M.O.X the Golem. Guru, being well guru, immediately exploded with NO FAIR!!!!!! WHAT IF WE ALREADY OWN ALL 4 GAMES!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad: rant threads.

Regina then replied in order to calm things down. She said the new edition was true and it will hit stores the stores in early September, but she also said that anyone who already owns all the games will be able to acquire M.O.X. A new quest will come with a new build that allows you to "cap" him. Due to his huge size he will be PvE only. Too many negative factors make him impractible for pvp competitions.

I expect that the quest will be something like the Moa bird mini that will require your character to travel to every continent to complete.
 
I'm sure I'll get it as soon as he's available, but honestly, I don't think I've ever used the EotN Derv Hero and tend to use Melonni only when the quest or mission requires it, so another Dervish hero doesn't seem like it would be all that useful.

I guess Regina is the new Gayle? I have to get on guru more often.

I wonder if the golem hero will make as much noise as the golems in the asuran quests? That would get annoying after a while. I rarely use a derv as one of my heroes. I prefer Gwen with an Artificer/Interrupt build that I saw on guru and I've been trying out a partial Sabway team with Livia and Olias. I wish we had an additional slot to add another hero, though.
 
Oh.. for the record.. idk if anyone on Guru has said it already.. but I call the right to the name "MOXway"

MOX looks sweet!

I'll probably get him. Maybe even try to come up with some kind of build that uses all three dervs...
 
I was just thinking, if he's PvE only anyway, they should give him access to PvE only skills too! An avatar dervish hero with the sunspear skill would be great, not to mention Pain Inverter.
 
the one thing i dont understand is that, IWAY was an actual acronym. moxway, cryway, etc, dont have "will avenge you" or any sort of relevance to call them a "way"

on another note - my warrior runs an iway hero group thats pretty effective >.>
