And after a long day of missions and quests, my day has come...

Level 20 and Crystal Desert, here I am! :D

I'm ready to get started on those last missions now, so feel free to offer assistance and help me get there sooner rather than later. I was bummed that no one was on to share in my victory and achievement last night, but I know you all still love me and are happy for me just the same. (Bella has made it to the Crystal Desert, too, but is just a wee bit shy of Level 20 still.)

Oh... and below is a screenshot of a sword I got. Is this for real?

Dude! that is a lot of cash...how do you have so much money lying around?

Please tell me you acquired that honestly and not from some real money for fake money exchange site ;)

Actually, that can be easily explained by a single lucky drop of an un-ID'ed superior absorption rune or a max damage crystalline sword with great mods... or by selling 10-12 ectoplasms (but you don't have access to FoW or UW without ascending). Hmmm..... that is a mystery.

Anyhow, I'll be glad to help you out. I am somewhat of an expert on the Elona Reach mission (there is a certain way it MUST be done, or you will die horribly and often), so count me in for helping out.

Is there really a dishonest way of acquiring money so as long as you aren't stealing it? :D

Yay! I know that myself, Bella and Sydney are all right there, so the help will be much appreciated. The more ascended characters we have the better. Then we can venture as a guild into UW/FoW with TWO great healers, and it'll also leave more time for helping get everyone else up in level, too.

From The Guild Wars Rules of Conduct, item #11

The language is sufficiently vague that I can see where buying plat may be able to be excluded (is gold considered an item? I'd lean towards yes)... but that would still be violating the rule's spirit, if not letter.

Not that you'd ever need to with that much cash, but I'd suggest that if you did indeed use real money to purchase fake money, that you not do it again since IMO it is a violation of the ToS and that is not the image we want to portray. (run-on)
 
Wow, I need to get busy, you have caught up to me as well (except for the cash, that's way beyond me). I have done Elona's reach, but need to do the other 2 yet. I'd love to do them with SoE members rather than trying to find a PuG with common sense. I tried Elona's Reach probably 8 times. 1 with henchies - ouch, rest with PuG's, most of which someone would run off and aggro way too many at once.

I should be on farming in the desert for some more collector's items, look me up when you work on the missions.
 
You found one of the few "weed-whackers" out there eh? I laughed when I picked up my first one. Not many plants to use it on, but a fun upgrade anyway.

I did the "Big 3" almost entirely with henchies. I did Elona and Dunes (mission & bonus) without much problem. Thirsty River was the one that I just couldn't quite complete with henchmen. I would get to that last group of npcs with the 2 healers and die repeatedly. Had to do that one with real peeps, and managed to get in a very cool group of mostly warriors that totally owned the mission.

If you need my ranger to help out, if I am on and not going to be interupted every 15-20 minutes, I will be glad to help.
 
Woot! I am there! Lvl 20 and in the sand. I ran to Dunes of Despair and am waiting for Lana, Bella, and anyone else who wants to knock it out. Tonight is a good night for me :)

Hey! That's awesome! We'll (well, at least me) will be on at 7:30 pm Pacific time, and I can go as long as you want. I'm sick and so is our 5-month old son, so I'm not sure if Bella will be fully available or not. Can't wait to start knocking this out together, as a team and a guild. Go God! Er, go SoE! LOL
 
Well it happened eh? Loew, Lana, Bella, and Sydney all Ascended tonight!! woot woot! I think I heard that Michael Redeemed did yesterday as well. Thats 5 new ascensions in 2 days. Good work guys and gals. Was lots of fun to participate in this with you all. Congrats to all and to those who arent there yet, you will be soon and we will be helping and cheering all the way along.

Ascended is towards the end of the game, something your character goes through to continue on in the storyline. I don't want to give away too much if you haven't done it yet.
 
You mean... after you play it all... you just "finish"? Does that mean you win and don't play anymore OR! :eek: is that something I shouldn't know :rolleyes:
 
you pvp. or you can tour highlevel areas like the underworld. the game is far from over.

the pvp could be said the main part of guildwars.
once your done with the appetizers, try the steak.
 
If anyone needs help in the desert, be sure to let me know. I have a monk that can do the healing business and an elementalist who can blow things up. :)
