Cost will vary. depends on what you choose to put one together. like a 150.00 lcd or a 400.00 lcd. I got about 1200.00 in mine but the quality is that of an hdtv.The cheapest route for hd would be around 400.00 if you use the pro lens. Of course it's do it yourself so you must have tools.
I have my xbox360 hooked up to it, direct tv, playstation 2, gamecube, and my progessive scan dvd player. I can hook my pc to it but I choose not to at the moment.
