Logitech MX Revolution trouble

For about a week and a half i've been having trouble with the wireless
mouse pointer freezing and then going again, sometimes it freezes for 2 seconds and sometimes quickfreeze and then keeps going.

I'm trying out my old logitech wired mouse to see if really the MX Revolution mouse is the problem or not.

What do you think?

My mx 310 did the same thing so I updated drivers to no avail. Optic light would stay on with no movement or light would just go off for a few secs the pop back on. I am back to a old dell roller ball hehehe a new cs adventure begins lol.

change the batteries. Also is it infrared or bluetoth? If it is bluetooth then it's 2.4 ghz and has the same interference issues wifi does..aka any cordless phones in the house that tuse 2.4 ghz?

i quit using my wireless mouse , it wouldn't stay connected to suit me. mine would skip, freeze and batteries would go dead right when i would be having a good game. Also mine was even worse when I didn't keep the receiver part close to or beside the mouse.

I've ordered a sniper mouse mat through the net and I'll see how I go
with my Logitech MX Revolution. I like that mouse and I don't want
to have to return it the the shop where I bought it.

I've gave the Logitech MX Revolution's lens a brush.

My old mouse has been working fine since i've plugged it in and the windows
problems i've had I believe has nothing to do with the old mouse.
