Linux distro suggestion

yum through webmin won't work very well..unless you use the -y parameter. so if you want to update you ahve to
yum -y update
or if you want to install
yum -y install <package>

hmm i'll see if i can access it later. have the dag repos been changed since 8/3/06?. i dont know where else to find em either.

I have been running CentOS for several years now as a desktop and sevaral server, and I love it. Don't ever try and install WebGUI CMS on it.

Good choice. Keep listening to Hescominsoon and follow his instructions about Linux. He has given you some great advice.
 
actually i use webmin on every server i install..it works great once you install it form dag's then update from webmin..<G>
 
well, ive done it. i setup a hlds on my p1, 80mb, 2gb laptop and it runs de_dust2 smoothly with -maxplayers 4 and no lag, unless someone throws bout 30 smoke nades like i did and skyrocket my buddys ping from 80 to 500 :D . 24.18.40.25:27015 if u wanna test it out :D but now i have a good private for practicing 2v2 scrims or lan parties :D . figuring out DAG again, and figuring out that the -autoupdate command was bust was about my entire battle to get it to work. but its all set now :D
