We need a section dedicated to the web sites our members have found useful per class. If you agree or disagree please vote in the poll.

A moderator would also be needed to help keep the list accurate, to keep the links up to date, and to place suggestions for links that have been made. I think a thread would be too small for such an effort. In the section, threads could be maintained for each class.

Perhaps even better, do you know of a web site that does this already? But still, it would be nice to have a listing of links our guild members have found useful.

I would volunteer to help out by maintaining it. Several others may also want to help. Please post if you would like to help.

As a web developer, I am not following why the class discussion forum could not be used to post class links? The forum is barely used now, it would benefit from more content and not splitting related content into yet another forum.

When I open the Redeemed's forums, I see the three section's they now have. I am sorry, but I do not see the Class Discussion section. So perhaps this would be redundant, but that section may not be as visible to the Redeemed. I have not seen it. Thanks for calling it to our attention, tho.

Edit: I see that the class discussion is under the Mustard Seed's section - which may be why I have not visited. I perceive that to be their section although it is open to us.

I think most WoW links are pretty much common knowledge.

I wouldn't want to see a page loaded with links to every youtube video someone thought was funny.

It would have to be very highly policed or there would just be too many links to stuff one person thought was good but really isn't usable to anyone else.

Yeah the styling does not do a good job of showing the hierarchy of the forum. It is setup like this:

Tribe of Judah

  • World of Warcraft Chapter Forums
    • Redeemed
      • Redeemed General
      • Fellowship Events
      • Raid Discussions
      • Officer Forums
    • MSC
      • MSC General
      • MSC Events
      • MSC Bible Study
      • MSC Officer Forums
    • General WoW Discussions
    • Class Guides
    • Articles / Fan Fiction
    • Chapter staff forum
The forums WoW Discussion, Class Guides, Articles and Chapter are all shared forums of the WoW Chapter.

Some people including myself had put guides and links under our raid discussion forum also. We stickied some stuff but you can browse through there also on top of the class guides forum that Sandric. I do understand why a lot of people don't see the other forums. My shortcut leads directly to Redeemed forums and bypasses the top directory which is "World of Warcraft Chapter Forums".

Great discussion and that is why I posted and polled!

I, for one, do not really know a lot of links that I would like to know and was trying to find where they might be in our forums. But I do have Google!

As I leveled my druid to 80, I had to do some research (which by no means is bad for me!) to smooth out, etc. I am still trying to learn how to raid heal with him and need the practice, reminders, encouragement, etc. as I try to help my guildies along. Really, my focus is to be a servant. And I enjoy that! I enjoy hanging out with large groups of y'all!

Bottom line is thanks for the pointers about where to go in our forums. The explanation Plankeye gave about the form of our forum is great. I dunno, but perhaps the designer could check this out to make it more understandable to those of us who have the point worn off to where we ain't so sharp anymore.

Y'all are awesome!
