ChickenSoup said:and Maid... a pygmy goat?and "another" cat? HOW MANY DO YOU HAVE?
MaidMirawyn said:I've had as many as thirty or so cats at a time, when I was growing up. (In a suburban apartment, not a house in the country...) I've had a pet possum, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, mice, a tarantula, snakes, rabbits, and dogs. I think that's everything. Oh, except birds. We've had parakeets, canaries, finches, and cockatiels, and we raised a baby robin once until it was old enough to release. And we had a lizard once, and lots of fish, and a crayfish.
But dorkelf says I grew up with a zoo, and I can't have one now. All I have are my sweet cats.![]()
It never really seemed like a lot...not then. Of course, now it makes my two cats seem really lonely...there are too many places with no cats.slalomdms said:Wow and i thought we had lots of animals.
No, my mom has that title already...but she doesn't live alone. My crazy grandmother lives with her. (Crazy as in "paranoid schizophrenic," not as in "what a wacky lady!")Thrawn said:Haha, I was just thinking the same thing. "Crazy cat lady" At least she doesn't live alone.![]()
Oh, cat hair is a decorative accent. And a fashion statement... (Do I even own any clothes that aren't...embellished...with cat hair?)astrod00d said:I gave up house pets (or any pet except fish) years ago. I like my house to stay clean.
