Leveling when REAL game starts

When we actually get to play in regular open game on toons we get to keep instead of give up every beta close; are we going to keep some toons at certain levels (ie: lvl 10 or 11) in order to get guild bonus in RR?

Warhammer gives exp for RR doesn't it, so you couldn't keep those toons forever. Not sure how many toons we'll be able to have per account either and what levels we might want to keep.

I believe we will be able to have 10 toons per server.

Nothing stopping you from deleting a toon when it ticks over 11 and running a new one back up to 10 if your interested in that. There are RVR areas in all the tiers so you shouldn't need to do that.

I intend to spend my time on my main, with just one alt.

With the seeminlgy large amount of class hybrids, I'm only going to roll a main and maybe 1 or 2 alts. Not the 30 I went in GuildWars. :P

Seems like something I would do...

Anyhow, just because they are "all" hybrids* does not mean they play the same.

A Warrior Priest plays very differently than an Archmage, but both DPS and heal.

Same deal for an Engineer and a White Lion. Both have pets but the classes and the pets are very different.

* - Hybrids are technically classes that have both melee and magical attacks/heals, but I could only think of two hybrids - Warrior Priest and it's counterpart the Disciple of Khaine. So I incorporated the Archmage who DPS' and heals with spells.

I plan on doing the same as several others here. Main toon, then a couple of alts. Mythic has stated that the lower tiers contribute very little to the upper tiers, so we wont be too bad off.

Back to the original question - I may do it for my own personal enjoyment.

But there is the problem that they will gain experience from wins and they will eventually level out of the Tier you want them in, so then you will have to restart the leveling process all over.

...unless they make a command to turn XP off.

I was a Rollaholic. :(

Ditto. I'm using beta to try to narrow my list of "interesting" classes. So far, there are about eight that I'm interested in- which is just about all of them. I haven't scratched any off the list yet, but I've only play three classes so far. Decisions, decisions.

I have a very limited understanding of guild-features in WAR. What is the advantage of having toons in each tier vice all of them in T4?
