My dad is running for county assessor, and the primary is tomorrow.  We'd really appreciate your prayers!  Even if I wasn't biased, I'd vote for him, but there are NINE in the primary.  So it's really a big deal!  Thanks so much!  I'll let you all know how it goes down tomorrow.
 
He came in 2nd.

Okay, not really...at least not in the end, but it's still frustrating. Dad did great, and I'm proud of him. Thanks for your prayers.

Now, that's not fair. Just because he lost doesn't mean that they were being deceptive.

I'm not saying it because Dad lost. I'm saying it because it's true....

But it's done, and Dad gained a lot of new friends and everyone in his party wants him to stick around for other stuff.

Um, just for clarification.  My dad wasn't the one being deceptive.  He played by the rules and worked hard. I just now realized how ambiguous I was.

I hate kicking a dead horse, but I didn't want my dad looking bad either!
